[JAWS-Users] McAfee internet security suite
Hi all after I upgraded to windows 8.1 i found that McAfee scan was fast until it got to 99 percent then it seems to to get stuck on scanning rootkits has anyone on the list experienced this with McAfee scanning? does anyone know how to make it scan a little faster. Hi Joseph, Thanks but I still did not find it. and I also noticed that when I type a few letters in the search box Jaws use to say no apts matching your search and now since I have windows 8.1 it does not do that anymore would you have any ideas how to get it to do it again I am using windows 8.1 and jaws 15latest Thank you in advance [JAWS-Users] start screen in windows 8.1 Hi Adam, Joseph writing off list from JAWS-Users list. . I wouldn't spend too much time worrying about what is or is not on the Windows 8 start screen. If you use the Start screen search box, I'm very confident you will find messaging and your calendar much, much faster than manually trying to find it on the start screen. Remember, you need only press the Windows key then begin typing what it is you're seeking. After typing a few characters, simply down arrow through the list of results. Compare searching using the Start screen search box verses wandering around the start screen looking for the respective tiles. Joseph the free tech guy! Hi all , I have a question to ask when I go to the file menu and click on add- on and then go to the check to see if your plug ins are up to date the adobe flash player plug in does not show up like it use to in windows 8.0 does anyone know why it does not show up in windows 8.1 and also how I can fix this problem? hi list members, On my start screen in windows 8.0 I use to have calendar, people and message and now since it updated to windows 8.1 the other day it only has calendar people and weather on it what happened to message? or can someone tell me what is suppose to be on the start screen so i can have some idea? any help will be greatly appreciated.
