Has anyone else noticed this, running the latest build of 16? You can
still lower the pitch of Vocalizer Expressive voices, but you can't
increase it anymore, JAWS says the pitch is already at 100%. BTW, you
can access the pitch combo box by first selecting a context to change,
whether it's the PC cursor, JAWS cursor, ETC. I just observed this
interesting issue yesterday.

Thanks for any help.

Re: [JAWS-Users] saving multiple attachments in office 2010

2015-05-23 Thread Tom Behler
Brian:

Once I get to the save attachments tab, I hit enter on it, and then I use my
tab key to get to the folder and file view.

If I am looking to save something into a particular folder, I simply
highlight it and thenThen hit enter.

If I have folders within folders, I use my right arrow key to get to the
next level, and ultimately to the folder I want, and hit enter on it and
that's it.

It's kind of hard to explain, but hopefully, this will give you an idea.

To set JAWS for laptop:

1. Hit Insert J.
2. Go to Basics.
3. Enter.
4. Tab (maybe seven tab stops give or take) and you then Down Arrow to
Laptop, which I believe is the second choice, but JAWS will announce
Desktop, Laptop, etc.
5. Check Laptop and tab to OK.
6. Exit JAWS - Windows M.

Hope that helps.

Your laptop should have a row of numbers keys above the the letters row.
They will be in between the function row of keys and the letters row
beginning with Q. good luck, well at least I am assuming most laptops
will have a numbers row. It will start with 1 and go through 0. Try
exploring your laptops keyboard layout.

so, if the option in the view tab is:

Matthew, this sounds like something I had a problem with yesterday after
having some work done on my computer. I had to recertify jaws and this will
call for a certification ID number. If you press insert key plus letter
J and arrow down to help and right arrow and then arrow down to the
whizzard setup it will be next one below it but I can't remember what it is
called but you will recognize it. The big problem for me was finding the
certification ID number. You might want to run this by others on the list
as I am not a very good computer guy. Just trying to be a little helpful.
