[JAWS-Users] test, please ignore
Just testing as my messages have been blocked last few days due to my registered email address, which emanates from my blind handyman server accounts made it onto the CPL spam list. Looks like the host has it fixed but just checking some of my subscriptions. Fortunately, I was able to track this problem down and bring to their attention. JAWS has no problem navigating some of the various sites and things I needed to do. Best, Al For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
Re: [JAWS-Users] an outlook 2010 problem.
hello; it sounds like the following somehow got disabled, Include this group in send/receive (F9) were you in the send/receive settings? if I remember correctly; Outlook 2010 alt+f=file, T=options, The Outlook Options window opens.click on Advanced and scroll down to Send and receive and click on the Send/Receive button. here press a=advance, now use the tab key send and receive, press enter now look for; Include this group in send/receive (F9) make sure this is checked. You can also get to the Send/Receive groups by selecting Send/Receive tab on the Ribbon and then Define Send/Receive Groups. hope this helps. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Jim Rawls Sent: Sunday, May 24, 2015 11:44 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] an outlook 2010 problem. Re: [JAWS-Users] Spam?
Hello: You can change this behaviour by highlighting which of the radiobuttons is checked, from the message list, with alt+f, o, s. From very low protection (Automatic filtering only, radiobutton checked 1, to very high, radiobutton 4). I have mine set at low, 2 of 4. It works mostly, except for certain senders who may crosspost or send BCC, allowing for message rules I have set. Here is what we have, according to the JAWS Virtual Window: Safety Options Phishing Security Trust Center Options Safe Senders Blocked Senders International Windows Live Mail can move messages that appear to be junk email into a special Junk email folder. Choose the level of junk email protection you want: No Automatic Filtering. Mail from blocked senders is still moved to the Junk Email folder. Low: Move the most obvious junk email to the Junk Email folder. High: Most junk email is caught, but some regular mail may be caught as well. Check your Junk Email folder often. Safe List Only: Only mail from people or domains on your Safe Senders List will be delivered to your Inbox. Permanently delete suspected junk email instead of moving it to the Junk Email folder Report junk email to Microsoft and its partners (recommended) OK Cancel Apply -Original Message- From: Vicky Vaughan Sent: Sunday, May 24, 2015 8:57 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] Spam? Hi List, I have a very puzzling problem. I am using Windows Live Mail on a Windows 7 computer and I haven’t set up any rules for what should be considered as spam. When I checked inside the Spam folder, I found messages from several different email lists that are legitimate and from which I do receive and do want to receive messages. Do any of you have any idea why some messages do go into my inbox, while others from that same listserve go into Spam? Is there anything I can do, to make sure that all the messages come into my inbox? Many thanks! Re: [JAWS-Users] clear cokies in internet explorer 11
Hi, Open up your IE and wait for the chime, Press alt + T and the first option is to delete your history press the letter D, I believe. Or, arrow down through the menu. Or alt + T, then O. . If, you select O for internet options. The first tab, you can delete your search engine with the backspace key. And retype a different one in like: Http://google.com/ use the tab key to move down the menus. If, you make any changes in the internet options at the bottom you must press the apply button, then the OK button to save your changes. Keep tabbing through the options. When, you tab to a menu, press the spacebar to open it. Arrow up down to move you to other menus. At the general tab menu You can press control + tab to bring up other important menus and again use your up down arrows to move you to the options. If, you are not sure on what you are doing don't make any changes, just escape out completely to the general page and save your changes. You can mess up your internet options, if you're not careful.
