It's the word recent, then the colon.

So it should look like this:

Hope this helps.

Hi all,

In outlook in account you can put a verb followed by a colon then your email
address to get email messages on lists that you are on.

Does anyone remember this verb? Cannot remember and on Windows10 and Office
13.

Unsure how to change setting.

Hello,

I was finally able to have my wife read the label for me on my phone
recorder.

It is the Tele-Recorder model TR-50.

It is a little box less than the length of my little finger, about as thick
as my little finger and about as wide as my thumb.

There are no moving parts, buttons or switches. It just has a wire coming
out of each end; One wire plugs into a phone jack and the other wire plugs
into a recorder line input.

I have it plugged into a splitter on the phone jack and my Book port Plus
and use it in the same way I would when recording anything else. The only
thing to note is that you have to set the record input to external mike
rather than line-in. This is because the level of the phone signal is very
low.

Hope this helps,

Reed

Folks who use GMail have to add that into their respective account settings
or for some reason they won't receive any messages they might post to a
mailing list. I have never found the reason for that, but there you go.

Good morning Jaws Users group.
Last night I was doing research and other things.
So, I started out using the latest Jaws 16, and then switched to using the
latest Jaws 17.
Let me know if any of you have noticed the following intermittent lockup of
Jaws 17.
This intermittent lockup of Jaws 17 has been doing this from the beginning
of the Jaws 17 release.

For example.
I had the following programs and windows opened.
Bookshare, F S Reader 2.0, WLM, personal folders, and on occasion my
external back up drive.

Using Jaws 16, latest release no issues.
Using Jaws 17, latest release, it froze up intermittently six times or more
in a little over an hour.

The freeze lasted for 10 to 15 seconds, this is very frustrating.
For example:
When going into the search edit box on Bookshare, Jaws 17 intermittently
freezes for 10 seconds or so, you can do nothing until it speaks.

When pressing Control+N, for a new message in WLM, same thing.
When pressing Control+R, to reply to a message, same thing.
When pressing the escape key in F S Reader 2.0, to go from my alphabetical
list of books back to the current book, same thing.
When pressing ALT+f4 to close a program, or pressing Control+W, to close a
window, same thing.

When pressing ALT+Tab to switch From one program to another, same thing.
When in the settings area, going from one screen to another, same thing.
Again, this is an intermittent Jaws lockup, very difficult to reproduce with
any regularity!

But never-the-less, this is a very frustrating issue with Jaws 17.
Again, this has been this way since the first release of Jaws 17.
This is why I went back to using the latest Jaws 16 on my w-10 computer.
Do any of you use Jaws 17 older version or the latest version, regularly on
your w-10 computer?
Have you encountered this Jaws 17 intermittent lockup, which last for 10 to
15 seconds?

If you have, please let me know, also, please let F S Support know about it.
Again, very hard to reproduce this problem when you wish to reproduce it.
But it continues to intermittently pop up again and again in Jaws 17.
I do not have this issue using Jaws 16, so, I know the issue is with Jaws
17.

Any feedback on this issue would be appreciated.

Jim,

JAWS 17 has a marvelous new feature that prevents the old "program not
responding" message. JAWS 17 just shuts down and restarts when there is no
activity for a certain period of time. This is "normal" (note the quote
marks) behavior for JAWS 17. A feature that I sincerely hope they remove as
soon as possible, as it really ruins my workday.

Let FS know your frustration via supp...@freedomscientific.com so they can
realize the insanity of this wonderful new "feature" of JAWS 17.

I guess my feelings are just a bit transparent...

Jim,
I am not in Windows 10 but Windows 7 with JAWS 17 and Office 365.
I have experienced the 10 second or more silence in JAWS 17. I at first
assumed it was due to having both MAGic and JAWS in the same machine which,
of course, run perfectly together.
However, I am seeing some instances on this list of the instances of JAWS
going silent.
I just switched to JAWS 16 and updated to the 16.0.4468 update.
So far I believe it is executing more quickly but time will tell if it
eliminates the pauses. More later.

Any feedback on this issue would be appreciated.

Jim,

JAWS 17 has a marvelous new feature that prevents the old "program not
responding" message. JAWS 17 just shuts down and restarts when there is no
activity for a certain period of time. This is "normal" (note the quote
marks) behavior for JAWS 17. A feature that I sincerely hope they remove as
soon as possible, as it really ruins my workday.

Let FS know your frustration via supp...@freedomscientific.com so they can
