Windows 7 to Windows 10, but with the exception of MaPlEr, every other
program worked in Windows 10 and works well. We all have a natural
reluctance to change, but are also often pleseantly surprised after taking
the plunge. As an example, I hadn't updated Chicken Nugget for quite a
while, just went to version 4.2 and it is much better, works perfectly well
with Jaws.

Humberto

Hello Faraz:

If you are using Windows 10 and JAWS 17, there is a built-in mail program
that Windows now offers, much as they had Outlook Express in Windows XP,
that is simple, fast and since the July update to JAWS 17, works very well
with JAWS.

hello experts.

I am using windows live mail for my gmail and hotmail accounts. couple of
days before my hotmail synchronization was stopped, after research I found
they have updated my account and I configured it with imap settings but from
that day its not working properly, for example it is taking too long to
synch with my account and most of the time it wont download my complete
messages. I am trying to download an attachment since morning and it wont
even open that message either allow me to reply on it. it is giving me error
“windows live mail finding solution on internet” and after it close the
client. I am wondering if someone have its fix or suggest me any other
accessible email client with installation/configuration instructions which I
could use as its alternate ?

best,

Faraz.

Re: [JAWS-Users] super scrip

2016-09-14 Thread Mike B.
Hey Bro,

Try the following:
1. Open the Settings Center, Insert + 6 on the number row, & press, Control,
Shift, + D, to open the Setting Center default all applications. Note: If
you want to stop Jaws from announcing, Super Script, in a particular
application open the Settings Center while in the application without
opening the Settings Center default all applications.
2. Arrow down to, Speech & Sound Schemes, & right arrow to open.
3. Arrow down to, Modify Schemes, & press the spacebar to open. Note:
Do not press enter, pressing enter will close the Settings Center.
4. Tab to, Edit Selected Scheme button, & press the spacebar to open.
5. Control + Tab to the Attributes tab, & Tab 1 time to get into the list of
attributes.
6. Arrow down to, Super Scripts Behavior, Tab 1 time to get into the radio
buttons of options, & arrow up / down to the, Ignore, option.
7. Now tab & you'll have various options as how you want to save this
change. I won't go through the save options because various people will
want to choose how they might want to save their scheme after making a
change.

Take care.

Hi Tom,

I had the exact situation you described. Using Windows 10, JAWS 17, and
Office 365, there was an occasion that a message or two would not leave the
drafts folder from within Outlook 2016 despite the fact that the messages
were sent. Like you, deleting did not work; Shift+Delete was also tried to
no avail. Rather than doing the legwork to locate a potential setting
configuration in Outlook, I signed into my Gmail account using the web
interface and deleted the offending messages from the drafts folder. I have
since not had this problem.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Problem With Messages Stuck In Drafts Folder In
Outlook 2016

Hello, everyone.

I am having an interesting problem with my personal g-mail account in
Outlook 2016 in Office 365 here.

For reasons I don't fully understand, I have 5 messages stuck in my drafts
folder, that I can't seem to get rid of. These are messages that were
successfully sent over the past few days, but they still appear in my drafts
folder. I have tried deleting each item, esentially moving them to the
deleted items folder and emptying that folder with no luck. I have even
selected and individually deleted each message. When I have individually
deleted each message, I was informed that the deletions would be permanent,
which was fine with me. The items get deleted from my deleted items folder,
and even temporarily from my drafts folder, but within a few minutes, they
re-appear in my drafts folder again, as if nothing ever happened.

How can I get rid of these messages in my drafts folder once and for all?

Dr. Tom Behler from Michigan
