I have that problem with outlook. I'm using Jaws 14. I have a similar problem except it occurs whether it is Word, Word Pad or Note Pad. I have gone back to using Jaws 16, where the same thing still happens but not nearly as often. I think you can do that by going to www.office.com, click on turn on automatic renewal, that should help you, if you want audomatic renewal turned on, especially, if you have a yearly subscription.
