[JAWS-Users] Exporting Equalizer Settings
Hi All, Running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit & JAWS 16, 17, 18, & 2018. I'm in need of having my motherboard replaced, & was wondering if it is possible to export the equalizer settings from my Realtek High Definition Audio 6.0.1.7004 soundcard? I can't find an export menu to open so, if it's possible to save my settings, would y'all please tell me how I can do it? Thank you very much. Take care. Mike. Dodgers, try again next year! [JAWS-Users] I need help with a Google mail problem.
Hello Everyone I am experiencing some crazy stuff with my Google mail account on my computer. what's happening is this, I am getting two or three copies of every email I receive and this is what I already tried. I deleted my Gmail account from my computer and re configured it and I also went to Google.com and went in to my account and went through all of the settings and can’t find anything out of order. I have even deleted WLM from my computer and re installed it and re configured all the accounts in there and still the same thing from Gmail if anyone knows what’s happening I would appreciate it very much if you can tell me what I need to do to stop this behavior. Re: [JAWS-Users] Check Mark in MS Word 2013
Hello Jerry, The easiest method is probably typing in the Unicode number followed by Alt x. A checkmark symbol can be entered by typing 2713 and then using Alt with x before pressing spacebar. A heavy checkmark symbol can be entered by typing in 2714 followed immediately by Alt x. There isn't a hotkey in Word for this symbol but it is in the symbols dialog box using the Arial MS Unicode font and dingbats in the subset. You need to use the JAWS cursor in that dialog box but if you find the checkmark you can click it and then add a shortcut key if you want. AutoCorrect could also be used and set up so that the symbol would be entered when you type something like CHKMRK. However, if you know the Unicode value of a symbol you can type it and then use Alt x to insert that symbol into a document. Take care. Re: [JAWS-Users] How to get gmail to show up when I send an email to the group?
Yes, put recent: in front of her email address in the account settings of her email client, exactly as I wrote it using the word recent followed by a colon and then the email address.. The exact wording would be using ed...@email.com as the example: in the email address field under the email program write recent:ed...@email.com Steve Lansing, MI - Original Message - From: "Mr. Ed"To: "JAWS-Users-List 2" Sent: Friday, November 03, 2017 1:05 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] How to get gmail to show up when I send an email to the group? Re: [JAWS-Users] new computer or not
lenny why not just buy a new network card and install that it will come with the correct driver you can either remove or disable the current network card and you will save alot of money - Original Message - From: "Lenny McHugh"To: "JFW List" Sent: Thursday, November 02, 2017 4:44 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] new computer or not First I really do not want to purchase a new machine at this time. One thing that I am not sure of is if I could use my origional 32 bit windows install to run a repair and keep all of my files and programs. If that would work I would go that way. Microsoft is willing to create a product key and download the 64 bit os and install it on my machine.I hate to go through the work to reinstall programs and try to recover product keys and all emails on the new os.
