Re: [JAWS-Users] Outlook E-mail Attachment Problem: Additional Detail
Tom, which method do you use to attach files? I copy the file I want attached into the message field, at which point it turns into an attachment. It works every time. The only difference in our systems is that I use Office 2016, not 360. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List On Behalf Of Tom Behler Sent: Wednesday, June 06, 2018 8:27 PM To: 'Jaws users list' Subject: [JAWS-Users] Outlook E-mail Attachment Problem: Additional Detail Hello, again. I have had LinkedIn for a few years and it is terrible. They even have a link to send comments and inquiries for accessibility and I have sent several messages over the years and never gotten a responce. I think it is fake accessibility. It can be a tool for business so you may need some sighted help if you think it can work for you. I am not clear on just what good it does. I keep it for my Not-for-profit. [JAWS-Users] Outlook E-mail Problem
Hello, everyone. I realize this might be off topic for the list, and I might have to call Microsoft Accessibility on the issue, but my Outlook 2016 in Office 365 has developed a serious issue. Specifically, whenever I try to attach a file to an e-mail, Outlook crashes and stops responding. This happens with both my University and my personal e-mail accounts. This issue just started happening a few hours ago. I would appreciate any suggestions with regard to settings I might check, etc. Thanks in advance. Hi Jerry, With WLM open press, Insert / Jaws key, Control, + V, and Jaws should read what version of WLM is running, and for the other question, make sure the screen is maximized. Take care. Mike. Re: [JAWS-Users] Spell Check in MS Word 2016
How odd, I have used Word since 97 and am now in Office 365 and spell check seems to work mostly the same from when I started using Word in 1998 until now, always great except it does not have medical words and since I am retired I have not updated the medical speller addition. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List On Behalf Of Jim Fettgather Sent: Tuesday, June 5, 2018 2:14 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Spell Check in MS Word 2016 This is very interesting. I am using Jaws 2018 with Word 2016, but I am using Office 365 version, so there could be incremental updates to the spell checker. When pressing F7, Jaws says the misspelled word, I can then tab to Read Sentence, and finally, a list of suggestions is shown, along with synonyms, just so that you can make sure you are choosing the correct word. You can use up and down arros to navigate the list of suggestions. Then, after pressing enter, the next misspelled word is spoken, and I can just tab to the list of choices again. I find it to be a very seamless experience, and a vast improvement over the spell check in Office 2013.
