2012-01-23 Thread Arya

Hi Carolyn ,

Guess what? it did not crash at all.
I think then the problem is with jaws version 12 and 13.
Wondering what to do next!!!
Oh I think you got me wrong, I ment one chat window for a person.
I hope this clears the confusion i caused.

With cheers.

Thanks for that keystroke, I will give it a try. But, if you have all chats

have half a dozen or more going during the day. Sounds like I need to
re-visit JAWS help for SameTime and I will do that tomorrow. Thanks!

Hi Carolyn ,
I did not try with jaws 11.
Will install the demo of jaws 11 and get back to the list with the results.
Reading the individual conversation is possible in same time.
Go to preference in same time and there is a option for accessibility
check those option.
When you are in the typing field press control plus t to jump to read
the conversation u can use the IE keystrokes in that window,
that keystroke is a toggle to get you back to the typing field.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Gold Wave Scripts

How can I tell if I have the latest Gold Wave Scripts? The
reason I ask is listening to some of Rick Harmon's Gold Wave
POD casts I hear some information I do not hear when I use
Gold Wave. I also don't seem to have some of the shortcut
keys he describes. Is it possible the scripts need to be re
compiled? If so, I need a refresher on how to do that. I
also noticed in my Jaws settings folder there are Gold Wave
4 script files as well. I am using the latest version of
Gold Wave. Do these need to be kept?

thanks

[JAWS-Users] scripts for USB AutorunRemover and TweakNow WinSecrets are released!]]

2009-01-30 Thread Arya

Hello and welcome friends, we, (The ultrauniverse team) are pleased to

announce the release of 2 more script sets for the following programs:

Before the script sets, sharing rites:

Anyone willing to host or upload our scripts on their servers, feel free to
do so, but please encourage people to visit the the original source as well.

Authors: Jitendra and Ramkumar.

Note; the site address is given below.

1, scripts are written for the very Useful program USB autorun remover

Introduction to the program:

Currently, USB storage is a common source of infection with potentially
dangerous content, and malicious programs propagate so quickly that
antivirus companies
have to release updates as quickly as possible to minimize the amount of
time that users will potentially be at risk. Unfortunately, many antivirus
companies
are unable to do this - users often receive updates once they are already
infected. Our new technology blocks threats based on proactive protection
and
our solution can protect your computer against all threats trying to attack
your computer via USB drive, no matter malicious programs are known or
unknown.

A word about our scripts for it:

This set of scripts supports almost every feature of the program,

Access to all the features are made using shortcut keys and scripts.

2, scripts are written for a very popular and powerful tweaking program for
windows:

Introduction of the program:

In TweakNow WinSecret, we have gathered the most popular Windows XP/Vista
registry settings and provide them for you in an easy and safe user
interface.
All settings are divided in the following sections:

Applications, Control Panel, Desktop,Miscellaneous,Network Internet,OEM
Info, User Accounts and Windows Core.

have few words about our scripts.

This set of scripts supports almost every feature of the program,

there were no menus, dialogs, the front end was designed having no
accessibility in mind, no buttons and navigable controls were there, but we
made it for
you using JAWS's very powerful scripting technology, and it has become easy
using this program!

for anything about the scripts, should you ever need to contact the

developers,

[JAWS-Users] Note to the users of YPOPs and yahoo mail.

2008-06-06 Thread Arya
Friends,
If you find any problem in receiving mails from yahoo in to your OE client,
it is due to the yahoo server.
Please follow the steps given below to solve the problem.

In order to make YPOPs and Yahoo

The problem will disappear immediately!!!.
For this you have to log in to your account through IE ,
go to options and you can find the choice to switch to the new interface.
How ever there are few problems in sending mails through yahoo and YPOPs.
When you try to send mail through yahoo and YPOPs ,
you will get some error for the 1st two times , but for the third time, your
mail should go through.
YPOPs team is working on this problem.

 Hi list,
Is Jaws 8 able to be used okay with Yahoo messenger? I think I remember a
while ago, that some list members were having issues with it. I am
currently using windows live, which most people still call MSN. I thought
I remembered reading, that Windows live, was meant to allow users to
interact with people using Yahoo. Is this true. I have some friends on
Yahoo, and it would be nice to chat with them without having to sign up
 with Yahoo messenger.
 thanks Jason

Re: [JAWS-Users] Yahoo scripts

2007-12-14 Thread Arya
 Hello Pattie ,
It was tested only in jaws 7, therefore it may or may not work in higher
versions
To make the scripts recognise by jaws 8 .
Please do the following :
 Go to your jaws shared
settings folder by going to
the start menu, programs, jaws eight, explore jaws,
and explore shared
settings. Then, delete the old yahoo scripts that are
already there. Once
they are all deleted, paste in the new scripts
. Once that's done, open up yahoo messenger. Once
your main contact
window is open, press insert q twice quickly. this
will put the
configuration information in the virtual viewer. Arrow
down until you find
configuration name, and copy the name to the
clipboard. the name should be
Yahoo Instant Messenger Main. Once that's done, go
back to your shared
folder, and rename all the new yahoo script files with
this name, but don't
change the extensions, however. When you've finished
with that, restart
yahoo messenger and it should work fine.
The above steps can be followed for other jaws versions as well.

Enhancements :
Fixed a problem where jaws read the incoming messages after a delay.
It was due to a change in constant in jaws version 8.
updated the .jsm file for users of jaws 9.
Included the code from jaws 9.
to read the chat line using alt + 1through 0.
Added a script to say the number and the name of the contacts who are online
for the users of jaws 9.

Enhancements for jaws 9
Updated the jsm file,
Added a script to say the number and the name of the contacts who are online
 Hope this is
helpful.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Yahoo scripts

2007-12-14 Thread Arya
Hi Patti,
Try updating your yahoo messenger to version 8 ,as the scripts are
primarily written for that version.
It is not tested in version 7.5 as the support is built in from jaws7.
I hope this should solve this problem.

On my other computer I did all that to. I'm running Jaws 8, windows XP

 6001610.
 I'm so confused as usually.

Hello list. I recently installed the new yahoo messenger scripts, and they
work fine. However, when a message comes in, jaws takes about ten seconds
to read it, as opposed to reading it instantly like aim and msn messenger
messages. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions to remmidy this
slight problem. thanks in advance for any help that can be given.

 Hi Jeffrey.

I am using Thunderbird 2.0.09. It's the newest upgrade. I was not
aware of JAWs scripts for it. Maybe that would solve some of my
problems, especially when I am trying to compose an email, and JFW won't
read certain fields that I have filled in. It's especially anoying as
it's intermittent. Are these scripts on David's site?

Is there a fix to this for Jaws9? I don't want to have to switch all
the time back to jaws8. 9 is so much easier to use with vista.

Before you copy the new yahoo script files, delete all the old yahoo script

This might help jaws to use the correct script file,
and follow my instructions in my old post to make jaws 8 to recognise the

can give all of them to you if you want. Do you think I should delete all
 of
them and start over? The only problem I'm having is when I send and
 receive
a message, because it takes Jaws a count of 10 before it reads the
 message.
On that computer I have Jaws 8 and yahoo 8.

On my other computer I have jaws 8 and I'm running yahoo 7.5 and jaws
 reads
 the message right away.
 I'm getting crazy on this.

The files to be renamed are as follows:

 YahooMessenger.jcf

 YahooMessenger.jss
 YahooMessenger.jkm

The new scripts contain only eight files you have to rename all of
 those
 eight files.
It should be in your enu folder under explore my settings in jaws 8.
You should delete the old script files for yahoo messenger , in order
 to
 avoid conflict
 Hope this helps. .

I can count to 10 before Jaws says what I wrote.

 Some

Hi Mark,
Put the new script files in the enu folder under explore my settings in
jaws 8 .
The files to be renamed are as follows:

YahooMessenger.jcf
YahooMessenger.jgf
YahooMessenger.jss
YahooMessenger.jkm
YahooMessenger.jsb
YahooMessenger.jsd
ypager.jsh
ypager.jsm

After renaming the files start yahoo messenger, now jaws should speak in
message voice,
welcoming you to the yahoo messenger.

others look like the following with different extensions YAHOOM~1.JCF. Are
these the ones I need to rename?

 Hey Mark,
Have you found when you send and receive message that jaws doesn't
 read
 your message right away?
I downloaded Yahoo 8.00508 this morning, and that is what mine does. I
downloaded the scripts that are on David's list, but no luck for me.
I'm running Jaws 8, IE 7, and windows XP.

2007-11-13 Thread Arya
Hi Mark !,
The scripts was written and tested in jaws 7.
It may or may not work in the higher versions.
If you are using jaws 8 ,
try the following :
open the yahoo messenger window ,
and press jaws key + q twice,
Then copy The configuration name .
Then go to your Enu folder and rename all the six files with the
configuration Name with out changing the extensions ,
now restart yahoo messenger now the new scripts should be loaded .
If you have any problems please write to me offlist.
Hope this helps.

OK I've got this problem knocked at least right here for sure. The problem
is that the version of Yahoo pops up on the web site until an hour ago or
 so
was out of date. I've gone and retrieved the newest version put it up on
 the
site already and of course took it around the block for a test drive so to
speak. So download the version that is up there right now and again follow
the steps in my audio tutorial for configuring it and everything should be
back to normal. It might interest you to know that I listened to my own
tutorial because it's been quite a long time since I had to setup a Yahoo
pops installation. So rather than reinvent the wheel I followed my own

It depends on who you are using to send and receive email.
Your incoming 110 port is correct, but your outgoing may be different.
Are you using ATT, Earthlink, CenturyTel Or who?

Are you using ATT, Earthlink, CenturyTel Or who?

 I entered the following details,:
my out going server SMTP 127.0.0.1
 incoming server pop3 127.0.0.1
Should I change any port numbers in the advance tab?.
 Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you may not have the correct port settings.
 What server are you using?
