[JAWS-Users] trying to get off of the list
I would like Donnie Parrett to tell me how to stop receiving this list. I did what the web site tells me to do, and yet, I'm still here. I even set up a rule so that I wouldn't get most of these messages, and that's why I want Donnie to respond as I always get his stuff, and I really would rather not see stuff from this list. thanks, BILL K. [JAWS-Users] how do I know that my computer's slowness is a memory issue or something else
Hi Everyone, I was recently talking to one of my blind friends who also uses jaws, and has some knowledge where computers are concerned. He had me access my computer's hardware information with windows pause, and he tells me that I don't have enough memory, how might I know that this is true for myself for sure? also, when you access this information, does that let you know the complete amount of memory on the computer, or just what's left with all the programs you're using? thanks, Bill K -- I am using the free version of SPAMfighter for private users. Hi Patricia, My in-box has 2 messages in it that when I scrool down to them completely stop Outlook express from working. I can't erase them, but I have a feeling that perhaps they are somehow scrambled somewhere they shouldn't be, is there anything I can do within Outlook itself to clear those inapropriate messages, or do I have to clear out the inbox completely and start from scratcdh? Hi, Many thanks to the guy whose name aI can't now remember, but he helped me find the place where the in-box actually is in my computer, so I got as much out of there as I could, and zap, when I brought Outlook express up again, there it was in all its glory, a new in box. Again, many thanks. Oh, one more thing, thanks to whoever it was that suggested using the find key in internet explorer. Hi Jimmy, That sounds like a great idea, but as soon as i arrow down to the message, suddenly Outlook is dead, and there are 2 like that in the in box. It sounds like to me that somewhere something got scrambled, and that's why I'm unable to remove the messages, or to make new rules. does that help you any?
