Re: [JAWS-Users] Re-initializing scripts

2016-01-15 Thread Courtney Curran
Hi David,
I followed the steps on removing the internet explorer.jsb and the internet
explorer.jss files, but now there are is nothing in the internet explorer
script. Is there anywhere on the freedom scientific site where I can get the
original internet explorer.jss file? I can't uninstall JAWS and reinstall it
because I'm at work.
Thanks,
Moop

[JAWS-Users] Re-initializing scripts

2016-01-14 Thread Courtney Curran
Hello,
Today at work, I had to edit the internet explorer.jss script. I unfortunately
made some errors. How can I obtain the original internet explorer.jss script
that came with JAWS 15? And where would I go to replace the one with mistakes?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

[JAWS-Users] Issues with Mozilla thunderbird, Jaws 17, and Windows 10

2015-12-07 Thread Courtney Curran

Hi,
I'm having issues with Mozilla Thunderbird, JAWS 17, and Windows 10. First,
when I'm in my list of messages, JAWS won't read the headers of the messages
within the list, and when I try to select multiple messages, it just says
selected, but it doesn't tell me which messages are being selected. Also,
mozilla thunderbird really doesn't seem very responsive as a whole, but I'm not
sure if this is a problem with thunderbird, JAWS 17, or Windows 10 or a
combination of all 3. Is anyone else having these issues or similar issues?
Also, are there any other alternative email programs that will work well with
gmail, JAWS 17, and windows 10. I know about outlook, but I'm really not sure I
want to be putting out that much money for an email program. Any insight into
how to resolve these problems would be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks,

Moop

Re: [JAWS-Users] looking for a good podcast downloading app

2015-11-29 Thread Courtney Curran
Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion, however, I really haven't had much success
in the past with itunes. It seems to want to micromanage my library of
music and stuff and copy it into it's specific folders as opposed to
putting things into the directories of my choice. I know it does this
for music, but does it do it for podcasts too, or will it let me
manage and organize them to my liking?
Thanks,

Moop

[JAWS-Users] looking for a good podcast downloading app

2015-11-28 Thread Courtney Curran
Hi,

I am in search of an app that will work with JAWS 17 and windows 10 that
will download podcasts. I installed qCast and like it, but the only issue
is I can't seem to select multiple episodes from the same feed and queue
them for download at once. I don't necessarily have to play the podcasts
within the app, since I plan to transfer them to my mp3 player once they
download. If anyone can recommend a good podcast downloader that will work
well with JAWS 17 and Windows 10, that would be great.

Thanks in advance,

Moop
