Press the letter P, until you land onn Progress Bar. If Jaws says, Progress bar spoken, you can press escape to close Jaws options. If Jaws says, progress bar silent, press the spacebar until Jaws reads progress bar spoken & press enter to save changes & close. Again with IE open; 1. Press Insert / Jaws key + 6, on the number row above the main keyboard to open the configuration manager. 2. Press Alt + S, to open Set Options & press the letter U, to open user options. 3. You should be on, announce progress bar updates. The default setting is 5 second intervals. 4. Tab to okay, press enter, press control + S, to save your changes, & Alt + F4 to close. Alan, Try selecting The line with bullet then press the application key to open the context and cursor to the bullet submenu, then press the right arrow. When the submenu opens it will be on the bullet type on the line. This is given as a number. I do not have a correlation between the numbers and the bullet shape yet, but you could match numbers to choose the same type of bullet. BTW your messages need to be hypertext to use bullets. I have a student taking JAWS and when we press F to open the Office button and press the up arrow once it moves to the exit button it reads exit but , , is the access key for open andis the access key for exit.
