[JAWS-Users] can not upgrade to jaws 2018 what to do?
Hello I got my CD in the mail and put it in the computer and go through the jaws set up and for some reason it comes up with can not find common local.dll please reinstall the program. I do already have jaws 18 on my system so does this mean I have to uninstall all of the jaws stuff including jaws itself and start from scratch going from jaws 18 to 2018? I never had anything like this since am coming from a window eyes user. Any help would be excellent. Thank you. [JAWS-Users] differences between regular jaws verses non tandem kind of confused.
Hello. Am wondering about the regular Jaws verses the non tandem could someone please explain? Back in July I got the home edition and would like to download the latest version but which one do I choose? I am not on a work related network firewall and when I did check the home edition on my computer under utilities seems like the tandem section is available. I just want to make sure if I did install Jaws which one would it be cause when looking at the downloads page I see there are two sets being that the first set is the regular version and the second set of files are the non tandem versions. Yes was reading the list someone mentioned more webinars. That would be really nice for us newbies. Plus walk throughs actual demos in doing stuff with jaws all up to date. [JAWS-Users] problem when installing jaws 2018.
Hello I did install Jaws 2018, but when I went to install it I kept on getting this message can not find common local DLL please reinstall the package, then there was an okay box so I hit the okay button and everything went well but when in the help section when I arrow down to check for updates it says check for updates unavailable. this is on both systems since am running windows7 home premium on both computers. Does anyone know what this is all about? I did migrate my settings from Jaws 18.0 to 2018. Far as I know my SMA is all up to date til 2019 and all of the software updates on both systems are the latest. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. how to update jaws from 18 to 2018. Hello does any one know how to update jaws 18 to 2018 with out uninstalling anything and I just checked my SMA and I am good for 2019. How do I do that since I don't want to lose anything and keep the authorization number. I am new at using jaws since I got it in July. Any help would be appreciated Thank you. [JAWS-Users] a walk through in downloading and installing jaws scripts
Hello. I did take notice on the jaws-users you have some demos in installing jaws scripts and am a new jaws user would like to see a tutorial in finding a jaws script online, then installing the jaws scripts. I am using jaws 18 and an updated tutorial would be nice to listen to since would like to make thunderbird work better with jaws. I forget where I saw the thunderbird script, a walk through would be nice. I would like to hear the demo of finding the thunderbird script along with where to installing it and making it work with the current version of jaws. I did see some stuff about scripts, but a lot of the stuff I saw they want money, would love to get the training course from hartgen.org but I have no idea where to start plus don't have the money as of right now am still getting used to jaws since am coming from Window Eyes and still using it so please if some one could post something on the website think that would help us out in the long run.
