As I reported earlier I installed the scripts for FX but could not do the
same for IE. How well they work with FX I am sorry I don't know because I
don't use that browser much.

Well, I installed the IEMax scripts for Internet Explorer without a
hitch, and find the enhanced browser functionality very useful. But when
I installed the FXMax scritps for Firefox, I discovered that they do not
seem to work with Firefox 3.6. As far as I can tell, the scripts were
compiled successfully, but pressing Insert-H brings up the list of JAWS
keys, not the user guide for FXMax. Has anyone been able to get the
FXMax scripts to work successfully with Firefox 3.6 and JAWS 9? If so,
how did you do it?

Gerald

use text pad, because word pad defaults to .doc with formatting.

At 03:50 PM 2/23/2010, you wrote:

No. How can I change this so I don't get asked for confirmation each time?

Good Morning everyone, and a very happy valentines day too all of the
ladies that are on this list.

I would like to ask, if there's a way too reset or changeback my outlook
express 6 folder settings back to there default settings? The reason that
I'm asking this question is because I was trying to write down the default
path settingswhere the outlook express 6 is stored, when I received a
phone call. When I went to hang up the receiver, it fell out of my hand
on the spacebar, thus changing the default settings before I could hit and
get too the escape key too stop the process from happening. I suppose
that's what happens when you have a phone on the computer desk, that's to
close too the computer.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Skype question

2010-02-07 Thread Tim Appleby
Ok, to find out the current running version of Skype, Press Alt plus H then,
press up arrow once then press enter, that will tell you what version of
Skype your running, you might have to do some mousing around because that
dialog box isn't autimattically read by JFW.

Hope that helps

It's a program extension for Skype that announces folks as they go
on and
off line along with several other items that it updates as they
happen. Does
not work in Vista or 7 BTW.

I just installed Skype 4.1 yesterday and the most current

this dialogue box that pops up on my computer saying
skypenames.exe wants to use Skype. Sounds like there
are two buttons to choose from allow or deny access. Windows
firewall may be asking this? Since I'm not sure what this is
any suggestions as to what to do? Never saw this in version
3.8 This box pops up at random whether in Skype or not.

To turn your computer off in any opperating system of the Windows Variety,
that is: go to your start button and press right arrow from your search bar
to the shut down options, if that doesn't help, just simply press alt plus
f-4, your shug down options should be there.

Hope this helps.

[JAWS-Users] Winamp scripts for JAWS 64 bit

2009-12-30 Thread Tim Appleby
Hi, I just want to find out if anyone knows of any scripts for Winamp, these
cripts should work with 64 bit versions of JAWS but, the computer I'm currently
using doesn't support panning from left to right or finding out how much time
has elapsed in a track, I have tried recompiling the scripts but, it does the
same thing.
