 hi again
the problem is not the navigating itself as far as getting the browser to
 do
what it is supposed to. the problem is that so far the only thing jaws
 will
say is if it comes across a link in a site.
in other words jaws remains silent unless it is a link to read. i have
 tried
this on two sites that i am very familiar with so i know that there should
be text and stuff also on there.

hm, i don't know I guess I go back to the regular browser. the lynx I
thought might help a bit with navigating the sites that are not very
 accessible.

Hi,

Lynx is a text brouzer. I didn't found any tutorial with jaws. Usually
people use it with DOS Unix and Linux operating systems. Anyway, here are
two addresses that google showed me. You can try them.

hi does anyone have any hints, tipps or links to manuals for using lynx
browser the most effective with jaws?
I have downloaded this broswer some time ago to try and access some
accessibility nightmare sites on the web.
so far all jaws seems to speak when i use lynx browser though are the
 links
in websites when i try to use jaws like i usually do.
there seems to not be a way to use arrow keys and so forth to have it read
what i want it to read.

whats the secret there? any hints are greatly appreciated.:)
i have windows xp and use jaws 7.10.

thanks so much for the links. I have read that you can use it on a windows
computer too.
all the links I have found did not give any manuals either on how to
navigate with jaws in there. The browser itself has a manual inside it. but
does not say anything about blind users and screenreadersin their accessible
section.

thanks again for your time:)
