Re: [JAWS-Users] Drag and Drop on a laptop keyboard?
maybe if you turn off the virtual cursor. drag amd drop[ will work for you on the web page then? - Original Message - From: Michelle McQuigge michelle.mcqui...@gmail.com To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Friday, October 21, 2011 5:02 AM Subject: [JAWS-Users] Drag and Drop on a laptop keyboard? Hi all, I've been looking up the command to drag and drop items using Jaws 12 set to work with my laptop keyboard. The command I found, control + capslock + 8, doesn't appear to work on the webpage I'm trying to use. Is this command specific to desktop applications and not meant to work in html environments? Is there another command I should use? At the moment when I try it on the web page, I hear a message saying not in a list view. Any help would be much appreciated. I will be sure to try that. Copy and paste unfortunately doesn't work on the webpage. You turn the cursor off using jaws key + z, right? Do you have your lap top set to lap top or desk top for preference? If it is set to desk top then the caps lock becomes the insert key Keep Smiling, Janie Degenshein Happiness isn't having what you want, but wanting what you already have Access Tech Consultant Facilitator of ECHO (Eyes Closed Hearts Open) Co-host of OTBS On The Bright Side www.thruoureyes.org/brightside.html jdege...@comcast.net -Original Message- From: Michelle McQuigge Sent: Friday, October 21, 2011 12:02 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] Drag and Drop on a laptop keyboard? However, if you change copy from screen content to copy from virtual cursor, the traditional copy and paste of parts of the screen of text will work. It is down in the insert+v settings. Try that, before resorting to insert+z, etc. - Original Message - From: Michelle McQuigge michelle.mcqui...@gmail.com To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Friday, October 21, 2011 7:43 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Drag and Drop on a laptop keyboard?
