Here is my configuration. I have 2 250gb hard drives one of which has the os which is windows xp. I also have a 2tb hard drive for backing up my intire system. I'm using jaws 8.0. I'm not sure what else i can say. I hope that this helps. I use Windows Explorer to highlight the folders and files I want to copy. You could just highlight the, My Documents folder. Alt C, to copy Then open the external drive and paste the files there, Alt V. Then sit back and wait while the system does the copying.
