Hi

Whenever I have created a new tab in IE 8, 9 or 10, I have never seen it
open the home page. I assume that it thinks that your home page is already
up on the first tab.

You can add up to eight different pages, including your home page(s),
search page(s), Favorite(s) et al., to any one or any number of your
created tabs. You can also have up to eight different home pages. (These
options may be explored through internet Options, in the General Tanb,
etc.) You can access your different tabs with ctrl+tab, shift+ctrl+tab,
cALT+1, ALT+2, ALT+3, up through ALT+9. (Think I got that ALT down
right!)

I haven't installed 15 yet but am using IE 10 with 14. When the alt left
arrow doesn't work it is quick to use alt v, then g and then enter. Alt view
is the view menu, g is shortcut for Go to and the default is Back. Once you
get used to it, it makes a quick work around.

When you press alt-n the info bar is supposed to come up. Then, you can
press the applications key to make your choice.

Hi Rose,
you can change it to a different sound if you want.
1. Open the sound dialog from the control panel.
2. Move to the sounds page.
3. Tab to the tree view and select Notification bar.
4. tab to the sounds combo box. By default it's set to windows information
bar.wav. Change it to something else.

  Subject: [JAWS-Users] IE10

  Hi Everyone,

Recently, I posted to the list about problems that I was having with
IE10 instability. As it turns out, the problem was not IE10. It was my
router.
Unknown to me at the time, my wife, who was using IE9 on a
 different machine
on the same network, had begun to have the same problems with
instability that I was having. When I found out about her problems,
I decided to replace the router just to see if that would fix the
problem. It did. I replaced the router two days ago and have had
  no problems at all
 sense then.
I just wanted to let everyone know because I wouldn't want someone
who had seen my previous posts on this subject to look unfavorably
  upon
 upgrading to
Win 8 or IE10 because of incorrect information that I had posted.

  Thanks,

  Scott Duck

I'm glad you could fix it. But yeah, that's why I too let people know what
I'd seen so that they could see that perhaps if it was an IE 10, it could be
one of those unlucky things. I'm glad it's better now.
