Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS And HP Printer/Scanner Units
I have an HP printer-scanner and once I got it set up with Open Book it works just fine for scanning and of course printing worked right from the start, except it seems to jam a lot. I don't know the number but got it new last July for my birthday. Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS And HP Printer/Scanner Units
Hi Jerry. I use Kurzweil 1000 for my ocr needs, But it is very expensive. I like it though. If you are looking for a simple ocr ap do a google search for it. There are some free services where you upload your images and they convert them for you. I have not tried any of these sights however. You could also try downloading a demo of open book or Kurzweil and using the addin for Microsoft word. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of jerry martin Sent: Tuesday, May 08, 2012 9:16 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS And HP Printer/Scanner Units Norman: I have an HP OfficeJet Multifunction printer/scanner unit.
