I also use JAWS 9.0.2191U with IE 8, but have not experienced the problems navigating the Amazon site you have encountered. Try launching IE 8 with no add-ons to see if the problems still persist. To do this, go to Start menu, All Programs,Accessories, System Tools, Internet Explorer-No Add-Ons. If you continue to have problems with IE 8, consider rolling back to IE 7. Hi Gerald, Thanks for the reminder about I.E. with no add-ons. Unfortunately I encountered the same issues. I've written to FS as a last resort before I roll back to I.E. 7. I have some concern about the security vulnerabilities of I.E. 7, but I guess I need to balance those against having a productive experience on the Internet. Hi Norma, I will tell you that when I upgraded from Jaws 6.2 to Jaws 9, I had many crashes when using IE 7. I finally got tired of it and upgraded to Jaws 10. Magically, all of the IE crashes stopped. So, my point is that it may not be IE 8 that is the problem, but Jaws 9. Just my two cents. John - Original Message - From: Norma A.
