I passed on the previous build after reading about the extraneous
characters in WLM but installed the present build and have no issues
with WLM.

Downloaded the new version from the FTP site and installed it. See no
improvement in Windows Live Mail at all. It stills babbles on saying
everything on the WLM screen. Tom

[JAWS-Users] The new JAWS update

2011-05-05 Thread Maria Campbell

I just updated my JAWS to the latest and greatest.
Now when I delete a message in the list, in Thunderbird, the next
message subject isn't automatically read as it was before
This is rather an inconvenience, because I now have to go into the
message to know what it is before deleting it.

Re: [JAWS-Users] The new JAWS update

2011-05-05 Thread Doris and Chris

Dear Miss Maria,

I do not use Thunderbird but have encountered a similar problem with
jaws and Eudora.

Have you tried a saylIne on the next message while in your list of
messages. Does the sayline command not read the info for the message
you are sitting on in your list of messages?

Also have you updated your jaws using the automatic update feature or
did you dowload the installer from FS's website?

God Bless,

Doris

For what it's worth the update hasn't given me a bit of trouble. In fact on
my 7 system I like it the way things work in IE 9.

Re: [JAWS-Users] The new JAWS update

2011-05-05 Thread CrisMunoz54
The only real issue I'm experiencing is with Google Reader in Firefox. It
always takes a couple of tries with the spacebar or enter button to activate
a link and for whatever reason, on that particular page, Jaws will start off
after it loads by saying application mode on and behave as though the
virtual cursor has been turned off. Doing a quick insert+z command will fix
it, but it can be a little annoying. As far as Excel and other applications,
no real big problems that I can think of.
