Hi All; How does someone type the Checkmark / Square root symbol? I did a search received mixed information. 1 search said that typing the ascii code, Alt + 251, is the checkmark / square root symbol another result from the search said that there is not a way to type the square root symbol. Personally, I would think there is a keystroke for it, or people wouldn't be able to do math equations using a keyboard. Hi Steve; When I do the, Alt + 251 keystroke, Jaws reads U circumflex. Is that what Jaws will read but, it's actually a checkmark / square root symbol?
