OK I've got this problem knocked at least right here for sure. The problem
is that the version of Yahoo pops up on the web site until an hour ago or
 so
was out of date. I've gone and retrieved the newest version put it up on
 the
site already and of course took it around the block for a test drive so to
speak. So download the version that is up there right now and again follow
the steps in my audio tutorial for configuring it and everything should be
back to normal. It might interest you to know that I listened to my own
tutorial because it's been quite a long time since I had to setup a Yahoo
pops installation. So rather than reinvent the wheel I followed my own
 notes
to get things up and running in the quickest manner possible.

Some times it happens that the out going server needs to be changed to match
your particular ISP's specific configuration. Although that is not the case
right here I know it to be true.

Hi , I set it up according to the tutorial in jaws users.com.
I entered the following details,:
my out going server SMTP 127.0.0.1
incoming server pop3 127.0.0.1
Should I change any port numbers in the advance tab?.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you may not have the correct port settings.
 What server are you using?
