[JAWS-Users] Attachments in Windows Live Mail 2011

2011-12-25 Thread Joni Colver

Hello,

I just started using this email program. I asked a friend to attach
something to a message so I could see if JAWS identified the attachment. I
was able to save the attachment, but JAWS gave no indication it was present.
I have attachments checked in one of the options in the view ribbon. The
ribbons are new to me so am still learning to work with them. Does JAWS
indicate there is an attachment in this email program? Do I need to check
or uncheck an option somewhere for JAWS to do this? I am using JAWS 13.
Thanks.

[JAWS-Users] attachments in windows live mail

2010-10-03 Thread Lenny McHugh
Well, I just had to send an email with a document attached. It was a
nightmare at first trying to locate the document under the insert tool. The
document was in my documents and trying to find that folder and file with
windows 7 was brutal. Toying I found a very easy way to accomplish the task.
First alt I for insert then enter on file attachment. tab about 6 times to the
search box and I entered *.doc
The list of all dot doc files was presented and the file that I wanted was the
first in the list. This made it much easier than trying to find my documents
and activate the list. Hope this helps someone else.
This is on a win 7 32 bit machine using jaws 12.
