[JAWS-Users] editing fields in Microsoft XL

2011-01-13 Thread miss lady
hello everyone, I was wondering when you are using XL how do you edit a field
that already has something in it. I do not want to remove what is in this cell
but I want to change it a little bit. Is there a way to do this with out having
to retype it all.

Hello,

When focus is in the cell, use function key 2 to go into an editing mode.
If you want to add new lines while in editing mode use Alt+enter key because
the enter key used by itself will take you out of editing mode and into the
cell below the one being edited.

Take care.

2011-01-13 Thread Dale Leavens
When on the cell you want to edit press F2. You can arrow back and forth and
use delete and backspace but tab takes you to the next cell and enter to the
cell below and kicks you out of edit mode.

When done your editing press F2 again to return you to viewing.

Hope this helps.

Dale leavens.
