The program is perfectly fine Mike, don't worry about it at all. I wouldn't
have put it up there other wise you should know that already. If memory
serves it might have something to do with your security settings although I
have never run in to it with hat particular peace of software. Also the
program doesn't take an install, just a short cut on your desktop. Tab
around and see if you land on a check box that says something like don't ask
me again for this program or words to that effect.

 wouldn't
have put it up there other wise you should know that already. If memory
serves it might have something to do with your security settings although
 I
have never run in to it with hat particular peace of software. Also the
program doesn't take an install, just a short cut on your desktop. Tab
around and see if you land on a check box that says something like don't
 ask
me again for this program or words to that effect.

Hi, you should always save downloaded files for security purposes at least. You

Re: [JAWS-Users] email program problems

2008-04-06 Thread Chris Hallsworth
Hi, if you want to use TBird 2, then in any composition window, press the
keystroke to turn off the virtual cursor, which is JAWS key+z. If you want
to use TBird 3, however, which is still in the software development phase,
then this has been fixed and thus no need to deactivate the virtual cursor
in a composition window. By the way, make sure you re-activate the virtual
cursor with the same keystroke when you're ready to read a message. Hope
that helps.

2008-04-06 Thread Chris Hallsworth
Hi, well if Windows Mail didn't corrupt e-mails at random then I'd probably
stick to it, but for now I'd rather use a third party. Yes as you can gather
I'm using Vista Home Premium. Does anyone know if Service Pack 1 fixed the
Windows Mail issue I'm talking about? Thanks in advance.

It didn't really impress me either, that's why I only ever did part 1 of

Re: [JAWS-Users] email program problems

2008-04-06 Thread Carlene Knight
That's why I liked Agent. As an example, n takes you to new messages, pressing
the numbers 1 2 and 3 takes you to different panes. JAWS sees the cc and bcc
field, and you can obtain the email address of the person who sent it without
pretending to reply to the message. I'll think of more advantages after I send
this, but you get the picture. After the first paragraph or so, JAWS will
starts skipping lines, or stop reading altogether and I have to hit insert down
arrow again. I am tempted to go back to JAWS 7 for a while, but like some of
the features of JAWS 9, and it's a hassle switching back and forth. Maybe I
just can't have my cake and eat it too.

I just took NPop out for a road test and must say it handled very well. I
placed both versions up on the server for download if anybody is interested.
I also just updated the version of CD Burner as well. On the tips and tricks

 1. npop.
 2. popcorn.

these are very simple e-mail clientts.

a note about npop, it initially downloads message headers.
you can get popcorn from the jaws users website and when i've got time,
 i'll
give you the link for npop.

[JAWS-Users] Email Rules

2007-08-05 Thread Kerryann Ifill
Hey Guys,

I still have that weird problem with my rules for moving emails. I've double
checked and I only have moto folder and not copy to folder checked.
I've undone and reset the rules. I've even created new rules for new lists
and still the same thing is happening where a copy of the email is ending up
in one folder and another copy in a secondary folder.
Any ideas?

Kerry

If so, does it happen for every email you receive from that list, or just

Re: [JAWS-Users] Email Rules

2007-08-05 Thread Flor Lynch
You might have two rules for the same criteria but that do two different
actions. How are your rules defined? I use where the To: or CC: line
contains as my main rules definition, and it works well. Try stop
processing all rules for a time, see if any double copies come in then.
(If they don't you'll know it could be something in your rules. if they do,
then the duplicates could be something to do with your ISP.)

OK, in the selection that says, what would you like to do with the message,
make sure that you have only, move it to the specified folder checked and
not, move a copy to the specified folder.
Also, in the template, do you have, to a dristribution list checked and not,
from someone?

I always maintain that when ever a mailing list provides something in the
subject line test for that word or phrase. I do that and my rules never
fail. When there is no such option available then I test by the to or CC
field. Every once in a while on blind tech somebody sends a blind carbon
copy to the list and the message rule bombs out.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Email Rules

Any ideas?

Kerry

2007-08-05 Thread Kerryann Ifill
I agree with you 100% David. I used that principal and still this
particular challenge.
I even configured the rules to be based on the double criteria of having
specific words in the subject and sent from a specific list and still this
error.
I think my computer hates me!
