Re: [JAWS-Users] installing new jaws script for skype
hi derek, thanks for the instructions. I already have all the stuff added with copying and renaming the jsb file and adding that line of text you explained. I have done the upgrade to 653 and it still seems to work well, without recompiling all over. so my problem solved itself...again, thanks to all who wrote and helped regards chrissy Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Visit the Blind Computing home page at: http://www.blind-computing.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com To post to this group, send email to jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use the following address in order to contact the management team [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you wish to join the Blind Computing list send a blank email to the following address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
[JAWS-Users] installing new jaws script for skype
hi list, I would like to update my skype scripts and want install the new script 653. I already have an older version of this script installed. My question is, do I have to uninstall the old script or can I just install 'over' the old one already there? Also I recompiled and renamed this file for skype watch as well as the whole process to get skype watch to work, as described on the script page. now after i update to the new 653 do I do the entire process again, i.e. recompile all again, or will this be untouched by any upgrades? i know both are seperate things, just curious if I need to repeat any steps after installing. thanks in advance chrissy Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Visit the Blind Computing home page at: http://www.blind-computing.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com To post to this group, send email to jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Use the following address in order to contact the management team [EMAIL PROTECTED] If you wish to join the Blind Computing list send a blank email to the following address: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: [JAWS-Users] installing new jaws script for skype
Chrissy, you should just be able to in stall the new scripts over the old ones. As for skypewatch, I'm not really sure. If you're lucky, when you install the new scripts it'll work, if it doesn't, do the process again. Re: [JAWS-Users] installing new jaws script for skype
HI, For skypewatch, after you've unpacked the skype scripts, press jawskey 0 then control shift d. Go to the end with control end, put in a couple blank lines, and type the following: use skypewatch.jsb Now press control s and you should here compile complete. skype: status online or whatever your status is.
