Re: [JAWS-Users] the cu cu clock scripts
I just did the recording and some minor editing as a first run. I will review it again and if all goes according to plan it should be posted by 10:30 Eastern time this morning. -Original Message- From: Mario Sent: Thursday, May 26, 2016 5:48 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] the cu cu clock scripts David, I vote yes. this would be helpful for those trying to getting it to work. Original Message From: David Ferrin Subject: [JAWS-Users] the cu cu clock scripts Date: Thursday, May 26, 2016 1:35:47 PM EST To: <jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com> I just reviewed the documentation for installing them and it occurs to me that since they are so old some additions might need to be added. For example they were written for 4.51 and I doubt anybody on here today is still using that version they would need to be compiled for a more recent offering of JAWS, 15 at least if not 17. I could do an audio recording of me installing them for myself if there is any interest out there in listening. I mention updating them since version 13 we have had the my extensions feature which personally works for me very well. There will still be a need to modify the default key map file, but since it is only a text file with a JKM extension notepad handles that job quite simply. Feedback would be appreciated including thoughts on a demo good or bad. Re: [JAWS-Users] the cu cu clock scripts
Sounds fine to me, you will most likely have to wait until Tuesday to get it. I've got some things to do tomorrow and tonight is a hockey night in Pittsburg. Besides it takes me a day or so to map things out prior to making a ruff recording.
