I ran Norton internet Security on my previous machine, and my wife had it on hers as well. We both kept it up to date, and we both ended up with Trojans that rendered our machines useless. in this instance, there is a such thing as a free lunch, and you can pay for a lot more than you get. Re: [JAWS-Users] what anti-virus or security software works withJFW14
I use Trend Micro. It has three levels of cost per year, depending on the amount of protection you need, but you can install it on three computers. It came on the recommendation of a friend of mine who is the CTO for a large bank. It is completely accessible, and always has been. I have used it for about 4 years, and have never once had a virus, not one. I have never had any security problem of any kind, and I am a heavy computer user across several networks. It is the best program I have ever used. Using XP Pro 32 bit and Win7 64 bit machines. Thanks for advice. PJ ~ Please read: My Mum died of breast cancer when I was 15 and she was only 46. In June I am undertaking a 22 mile sponsored walk in the South Downs in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer. They are working hard so that no family in the future has to suffer such a terrible loss. If you could please sponsor me by visiting my Just Giving page and give what you can. All money goes to breakthrough Breast Cancer - I have to pay to take part in the event.
