Hello;
Well, if your looking for simple burn CD software,

Try burnaware free.
Here's some quick steps I wrote for a couple of client's.

Here's some steps to burn CD using the burnaware free program.
These steps are based on, the burnaware program being the default.

1, navigate to your music folder,
Copy the songs/music to clipboard.

2, now go to desktop, press the letter b=burnaware free,
Press enter.

3, the burnaware program will open,
At this point screen reader access isn't available.

4, press the alt-key,
Down arrow, until you hear;
Malti media sub-menu,
Here you can either,
Right arrow to open, or simply press the enter key.

5, enter on audio CD,
Another screen will open.

6, shift+tab once, you will hear;
Listview zero items,
Paste from clipboard,
The tracks will be added.

7, now to start the burn process,
You can press,
Ctrl+b=burn,
Or, you could use the menu,
By pressing the alt-key, right arrow until you hear;
Recorder,
Down arrow you will hear;
Burn compulation,
Ctrl+b.
The process will begin.

Hope this helps.

choose burn to disk in the file menu. If it's audio, same thing but if you
want it to be a regular CD that you play in a regular CD player, you tell it
so, and Windows Media player will load burn list created and every thing.
Just hit the burn button and there it goes.

Oh yeah. I fdorgot something. Well, I don't know what's being burned on to
the disks, but if music, well there's one point I forgot. I don't know if
star burn will do it. If you want to stick 2 tracks so it sounds like 1,
Windows Media player won't do it. Then there's the issue of CD TXT. This is
so the track names are listed and things like that. I know Nero Burning Rom
does all this and more of course. I use to use it. I just don't any more
since I have every thing on a 2 TB My Book hard drive.

Hi Andrew
Personally I recommend ExpressBurn plus. It works out of the box with Jaws
9 and 10. No problems selecting files and it burns Audio CD, Data CD and
DVD and depending on which version also blue-ray.

The version I bought for approx $50 (cad) is:
Express Burn v 4.05 from NCH Swift Sound. It can be downloaded and run

Re: [JAWS-Users] cd burning software

2009-03-28 Thread E.J. Zufelt

Good evening Andrew,

Which version of Windows and JAWS? To the best of my knowledge the
newest version of ITunes works with JAWS 8 or above, but you will need
to get the free scripts from Freedom Scientific's site if you have
JAWS 8 or 9.

2009-03-28 Thread JennyK
Hi Andrew
Personally I recommend ExpressBurn plus. It works out of the box with Jaws 9
and 10. No problems selecting files and it burns Audio CD, Data CD and DVD and
depending on which version also blue-ray.
The version I bought for approx $50 (cad) is:
Express Burn v 4.05 from NCH Swift Sound. It can be downloaded and run with
full functionality for a limited time.

the tab choice of: burn an audio or beta is no longer available in the

Can someone give me the quick and dirty about how to burn an audio CD with
 Win XP?

When using the CD burning wizard, if you select create an audio CD, the
wizard dumps you into media player. Your files are there and ready to go.
But, how do you start the process? In older versions of Media Player,
there was a button near the bottom of the screen labeled Start Burn.
You had to find it with the JAWS curser and press it, but once you did,
the CD burning started. That button does not seem to exist in version 11,
or at least I can't find it. Is there a keyboard shortcut to start the
 process?

Re: [JAWS-Users] CD burning With Media Player 11

2008-10-11 Thread Brian Lee

Hello Don,

One thing you might check is that full mode is on. If skin mode is active
then the burn button and burn menu isn't shown. Use CTRL 1 to make sure
that full mode is on. If full mode is on then use the tab key to see if you
can move to a folder tree that shows library and playlists. If so, keep
using the tab key to see if you can find the burn button and burn menu
choices.

Take care.

Hello Don,

One thing you might check is that full mode is on. If skin mode is active
then the burn button and burn menu isn't shown. Use CTRL 1 to make sure
that full mode is on. If full mode is on then use the tab key to see if you
can move to a folder tree that shows library and playlists. If so, keep
using the tab key to see if you can find the burn button and burn menu
choices.

Take care.

 Hi David,
Read your tutorialand tried to burn a cd, there seems to be no burn tab
accessible in Windows 11. It can be seen with the Jaws cursor, but no
action can be taken. I burned 7 audio discs with the wizzard after which,
the tab choice of: burn an audio or beta is no longer available in the
wizard; pressing the next space bar immediately burns a beta cd. Any help
will be appreciated, and thank you for your instructive tutorials, Don

Can someone give me the quick and dirty about how to burn an audio CD
 with
 Win XP?

When using the CD burning wizard, if you select create an audio CD, the
wizard dumps you into media player. Your files are there and ready to
 go.
But, how do you start the process? In older versions of Media Player,
there was a button near the bottom of the screen labeled Start Burn.
You had to find it with the JAWS curser and press it, but once you did,
the CD burning started. That button does not seem to exist in version
 11,
or at least I can't find it. Is there a keyboard shortcut to start the
 process?

Re: [JAWS-Users] CD burning With Media Player 11

2008-10-11 Thread Don Lorah
Hi Brian,
Tried all you suggested, found nothing, the full mode choice was never
found. I also tried to burn with the file menu: add to Windows ... still
no burn.
I previously burned 7 cd's with the wizard, but, now, that does not burn.
While using the wizzard, I opened the rw drive, pasted in the music files
and tabbed to: select audio or beta burn. Windows media would pop up and I
would go through the tabs to: start burn. Sonehow, this method disappeared
and now I can only burn beta discs with this procedure. Thanks for your
concern, regards, Don

Hello Don,

The CTRL 1 keystroke is just a shortcut for using full mode. The full mode
choice is found in the file menu. Use Alt-F and see if it brings up the
file menu. If the file menu is presented then press enter on the full
mode choice. If a menu doesn't pop up then use the JAWS cursor to check
the top of the window to see if there is a menu bar, and if so then use a
left mouse button click simulation on the file menu choice. It is the full
mode choice and not the full page choice.

If the above steps don't work then try to burn a CD starting outside of
Windows Mediaplayer. Browse to a folder in Windows Explorer and select the
files you want to burn. Make sure they are all audio files that Windows
Mediaplayer can burn. When the files are selected press the application key
and use down arrow key to the add to Windows Mediaplayer list and press
enter. When the music starts playing in Windows Mediaplayer press CTRL P to
pause the player. Use tab key to see if there is a burn button and menu at
that point.

You might also go into the help menu and check for updates to Windows
Mediaplayer.

Take care.
