Hi Reese,

I think the good old key stroke is Control + 2 for double line spacing.

Hi list:

How can I set word so that each line is double spaced? Using jaws 8.0 if
that makes any difference. Thanks in advance.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Double spacing within word 2003.

2007-10-29 Thread Crabb, Nolan
You asked how to set Word 2003 to double space:

Easiest way I've found is to press Control+2 before I start typing the
text I want double spaced. If I need to go back to single spacing, I
press Control+1 before I start typing the text I want single spaced.

Nolan

You can do a control 2 to double space. It won't show u in Jaws as double
space, but it wil be.
Also, control 1 is for single space and control 5 is for space and half.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Double spacing in Word 2003

Hi. For one of my college classes I am required to turn in papers that are
double spaced. I'm using MS Word 2003. The help section says that to do
this, I must go to the line spacing option in the format menu. But I looked
and there is no such option there.

Does anyone know how I can double space the lines in a Word document? Also,
is this something I will be able to know has been accomplished by reading
with JAWS, or will it still seem to be single lines but will actually print
in double space? Hope that last part made sense. Thanks for any help.

Hi Denny. Ah, thanks. I had to select all the text first, but when I did
that and hit control 2, I think it worked.

That's strange that JAWS still reads it as single space, however. I
 wonder
if there is a way to tell, such as looking at hidden code in the text
somehow. I really don't know how to explain what I mean. I'll keep
