Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws 16 OCR Component Not Installed
I had this problem on one of my computers. Turned out there wasn't enough memory for Jaws to install all its components, and the OCR one was dropped. When I cleared memory on my hard drive, I re-ran the Jaws install, and it worked just fine. -- Jim Marks jimma...@mt.gov -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Charles Nicol Sent: Wednesday, January 14, 2015 4:51 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] Jaws 16 OCR Component Not Installed Hi, I have installed the latest build of Jaws 16 Professional on a WINDOWS 7 64 Bit Laptop and, when trying to use the new functionality, to read an inaccessible PDF document, I'm told that the OCR Component is not installed.
