I have tried to download the .zip file containing the .mp3 file for which a
link is provided in this message at least 6 times. Every time, the download
just stops with no explanation. Each failure has been anywhere from 2% to
99% complete.

Kinda puts me in the mind of.oh well, never mind. You don't wanna hear
it.

All,

As we get nearer to the release of JAWS 9, one of the things we create
to go with the product is a DAISY book on what's new in the version.
This book installs from the Program CD when you get it and you can
review this DAISY Book with the FS Reader Demo product that is used to
do all the training material shipped with JAWS.

We also provide mp3 files for most of our training material if you would
like to listen to it on the go and today, we posted the mp3 version of
the What's New recording on the JAWS headquarters page. If you'd like to
give it a listen, you can download it now from:

Bob,
I just tested the download and it is working. The file is about 27 MB and with

Re: [JAWS-Users] What's New in JAWS 9 Audio recording posted

2007-11-06 Thread David Griffith
Hello
I think the best thing to do when you have a download problem is use a
Download Manager. I use Free Download Manager which is up on the Programs
page of the Jaws User website.

A download manager will resume automatically a broken download and will
prevent the download having to restart from the beginning. It is invaluable
for downloading large files.

If you do not want Free Download Manager to seize control of all downloads
you need to change some options in the download options. I personally do not
let it control all my downloads. I simply use the context menu and select
download with free download manager. This reliably puts the file in a
folder called Downloads on your C drive. Let me know if you need help
setting options.

Regards

David Griffith

Regards,
Eric Damery
