Re: [JAWS-Users] audio cue with windows media player 12.0.7600

2010-11-06 Thread Brian Lee
Hello Lenny,

I created a couple audio files for one of my clients that deal with burning in
Windows Media Player 12. If you feel like taking the time to listen to them, I
have given links in this message where you can download the files. The first
recording is somewhat lengthy, but I get into the topic of using Windows auto
play before I discuss the burning process. The second file deals with creating
a playlist and burning it in Windows Media Player 12. If you decide to listen
to the files then you might want to speed up the playback. Use CTRL+shift+g to
do that in Windows Media Player if that is the program you use for listening to
MP3 files.

The links shown below take you to a web site where you will need to choose a
download link to start the downloading of the files.

Take care.

Lenny, tab around again, and go slowly. I have done what you have

done, and found that I just missed it. There's probably a key stroke

to use to do this, and I don't know it. Also, try this.

Before you send it to your CD drive, add the file to your windows

So then, hit control S and the playing will stops. See if that helps

you find the start burn button. Jim

I don't even need to learn media player at least not yet as my copy of Nero
still works fine but for future reference I am going to grab these files as
well. I've come to understand that documentation is a good thing in that you

Hello Lenny,

I created a couple audio files for one of my clients that deal with burning
in Windows Media Player 12. If you feel like taking the time to listen to
them, I have given links in this message where you can download the files.
The first recording is somewhat lengthy, but I get into the topic of using
Windows auto play before I discuss the burning process. The second file
deals with creating a playlist and burning it in Windows Media Player 12.
If you decide to listen to the files then you might want to speed up the
playback. Use CTRL+shift+g to do that in Windows Media Player if that is
the program you use for listening to MP3 files.

The links shown below take you to a web site where you will need to choose a
download link to start the downloading of the files.

Lenny I don't restart the computer every time I burn CD's. The burn button
just shows itself once I have the files I want to burn in my CD drive. I'm
not sure why this is happening to you. With mine it works. So don't know
what to tell you. Are you using Jaws or window eyes? I am using jaws 12. Jim

Itain't there. What was interesting was that I restarted the computer.

I received the message that files are ready to be written and to click

the balloon. then playing around the tab to library revealed the start

burn button. I canceled and placed the blank cd back in as if I just

sent the folder to it. After going through create audio the tab to

library just gave me the burn options menus. I should not have to

restart the computer in order to burn an audio cd. I do not think it

matters but these are mp3 files that I downloaded from amazon for the

neighbor. I want them burned as au files for the kids.

Lenny, tab around again, and go slowly. I have done what you have

done, and found that I just missed it. There's probably a key stroke

to use to do this, and I don't know it. Also, try this.

Before you send it to your CD drive, add the file to your windows

media player play list. the minute you do that, it will start to play.

So then, hit control S and the playing will stops. See if that helps

you find the start burn button. Jim

Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] audio cue with windows media player 12.0.7600

Lenny, I am running jaws 12 with windows 7 on a 64 bit machine, and I use
WIMP 12 to burn CD's all the time. Here's what I do. There are probably
better ways, but here is what I do.
So you rip the files from the original CD to wherever you keep them on
your

computer.
Next, I give the folder those particular files in a name, like the name
of

the CD.
Next, I send that folder to my CD Drive, wherever yours is on your
computer.
The minute I do that, it asks me to put a blank disk into my computer, so
I

do that. then, it asks me what type of disk I want to burn, data or for a
regular CD player. So I choose what I want. then it asks me to title the
disk, so I do. then it says next, and since I have chosen WIMP 12 to be
my
default player in terms of burning disks, WIMP 12 comes up. then, if you
tab

over to you hear library button, you will hear, Start burn button. So hit
your space bar, and the CD will start to burn. I hope this helps. Jim

Subject: [JAWS-Users] audio ce with windows media player 12.0.7600

On this new win 32 bit machine windows media player 12.0.7600 is
installed. I just want to burn an audio cd. I can not figure out how to
do it. I had to have my wife make the cds. On the old machine with nero
it was so easy. With this I could not copy and paste the music mp3 files
and I could not locate the start burn button with jaws. It is not very
often that I make an audio cd. Amazon.com had a free download of some
veggietales music and I wanted to make it for the neighbor’s kids. Is
there something more friendly to use with jaws 12?
