Just pick the windows theme and all sounds should go back to normal. 
Would check through them and make sure.

Well, if jaws works. Then you do have wav sound playing.
go into the control panel, sound, and see if any sounds are set for 
tasks. The themes maybe set for none, witch would give you no extra sounds.

Hi Leonard.
If you have a sighted person around, there is usually a picture of a speaker 
in one of the corners of the screen which you can click on if all your 
sounds have gotten muted.
