You can also go into your address book and find the exact address and select
that by pressing enter.

folder you made.

Hi all,
I wish to create message rules to sort all my emails from various lists I
am on to go into their own folders. I just wanted to know, say I wanted
to put all the messages from the jaws users list into their own folder,
would I have to type: [Jaws-Users]
exactly as it appears in the subject and as I have typed it above? or can
I just type: Jaws Users

without the brackets and dash?
kind regards,
from Andrew

Re: [JAWS-Users] message rules in outlook express

2008-12-03 Thread Flor Lynch
Actually, you don't have to do this. Provided that you are in no other
groups that use jaws in their names, you could use 'jaws' and the messages
would go to the appropriate folder. (In fact, you can include more than one
criteria - you could use where the From line contains: jaws _or_ [in the
next address] jfwlist, for example. Also, if you happen to be on the
JAWSlite list - which i am not - messages from there would also go to your
jaws folder, under those conditions. Thus, though nothing is guaranteed to
be perfect, your rules can be as rigid or as flexible as you would like
them.)
