[JBoss-dev] [JBoss IDE] - Including a custom manifest during packaging
Hi all, It seems that it is not yet possible to include a custom manifest file in the packages created with the packaging utility of JBoss IDE. It would be an interesting new feature ... It also could be interesting to generate the manifest (specially the Class-path clauses) ... [JBoss-dev] [JBoss IDE] - Re: Including a custom manifest during packaging
Hi, This feature is already there. To include a custom manifest in a packaging configuration, you must : - add a file named MANIFEST.MF to the packaging configuration - set the prefix to META-INF for this file Then, it will be processed as the manifest for the archive. For the generation of manifest, patches and prototypes are welcomed. Laurent. [JBoss-dev] [AOP on JBoss (Aspects/JBoss)] - bug in
As I reported earlier (http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=viewtopict=50337) there seems to be a problem with defining static pointcuts. The static keyword is simply ignored as far as I can tell. This is certainly not only for method execution but I suspect for anything static. Oddly enough !static pointcuts seem to work just fine. Should this be filed as a bug or isn't any one else experiencing this issue and is it a configuration problem on my side? I've tried this on jdk 1.4.1_02 and 1.4.2_04, both on Windows with Ant 1.5.3 and 1.6.1. BTW: there also is a minor issue with the ant aopc task, which is unable to handle directory names with spaces correctly. regards, Peter View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=viewtopicp=3837233#3837233 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=postingmode=replyp=3837233 --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the new InstallShield X. Hi guys, I am translating the 1.0 news scheme into the current one. There is a problem concerning the size of the text in the new scheme: everything is limited to 250 char. it would be preferable to use a text type for summary and ext_text. --daniel View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=viewtopicp=3837286#3837286 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bbop=postingmode=replyp=3837286 --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the new InstallShield X. that's the value the standardjbosscmp-jdbc.xml file (in the conf directory) specifies, altho the postgres mappings do specify text - i wonder if the mysql value should be updated to match that. in any case, i'll just create an entry for that sql-type in each of the properties files in the build/etc dir and update the xdoclet tags accordingly. I am having some trouble running TreeCacheView2. I am running it in an attempt to visually track changes to the TreeCacheMBean running in my JBoss server. anonymous wrote : Do you have an interest in helping out with some of this? Especially the GUI stuff. Take a look at my thoughts so far: http://linuxintegrators.com/blog/acoliver/code/?permalink=0131.html (though I'm trying to solve problems specific to JBoss and don't really discuss the mail-specific elements as those would be at another level). I am interested in helping out with this project. I've read your suggestions on using XUL to render the web GUI and while I don't have any experience in using XUL, my gut feeling is that a much simpler Struts/Tiles based web application could provide all the layout you need and still hide a lot of the jmx complexity. Additionally, what I think would be a nice addition to this project is a webmail application that allows the end user to configure their spam protection preferences (view/edit whitelist and blacklist addresses and greylist emails a la TMDA). This would allow end users to immediately see the benefits of JBossMail for spam protection as well as give the project a lot more visibility.
