[JBoss-dev] [Tomcat] - How to enable servlet 2.3 class loading
Hi everybody, I am having troubles with running more then one similar web application in the single instance of Jboss-Tomcat bundle. The JBoss 3.2.1 book clearly says that if "servlet 2.3 class loading model is enabled it will first load from the war WEB-INF/{classes,lib}". Does anybody know where I can enable this class loading model. This would be a bug in a properly configured system, it would imply two different receivers got the same message. A bug report is not the place to ask for "clues" on every error message you receive from JBoss. If you read "READ THIS FIRST" http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=43573 you will find information on how to debug this. Your assertion that that nothing changed in the persistence mananger is factually incorrect. There were a number of modifications between 3.2.3 and 3.2.4 including a source code reformat to match JBoss standards. Additionally, if you use search in the JBossMQ forum you will find many posts about mysteriously disappearing records. I'm not going to answer more directly, because I don't want to encourage you to try to jump the free support queue by reporting unsubstantiated bugs. -- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=376685&aid=981320&group_id=22866 --- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training. [JBoss-dev] [ jboss-Bugs-981353 ] Odd javax.ejb.Handle.getEJBObject() behavior

The offending code looks like this: InitialContext initial = new InitialContext(); TestSessionHome home = (TestSessionHome) initial.lookup("java:comp/env/ejb/TestSessionEJB"); TestSession sess = home.create(); Handle h = sess.getHandle(); TestSession sess2 = (TestSession)h.getEJBObject (); // Blows up The h.getEJBObject() call results in a chain of exceptions, starting with a null pointer exception inside org.jboss.ejb.plugins.AbstractTxInterceptorBMT.invokeNe xt(). This used to work with JBoss 3.2.3 (in fact, I'm counting on that it should work!) Attached is a jar file containing the source code and a readily deployable EAR-file for verification. [JBoss-dev] [AOP on JBoss (Aspects/JBoss)] - ProgrammaticSecurit
I began with the implementation last week and I think that I understand your idea. But why must I push the Security Manager ? ( your code: ctx.pushSecurityDomain(...) //push the SecurityManager and realm Mapping) I must push RealmMapping, thats clear. ( Because of the doesUserHaveRole method) But why the SecurityManager? And the other question is how to get references of SecurityManger and RealmMapping? Must I create a constructor pointcut for these objects, to access securityManager and realmMapping in my ProgrammaticSecurityInterceptor invoke method ? I think the ProgrammaticSecurityInterceptor must be integrated in the SecurityInterceptorChain. [JBoss-dev] [JBoss IDE] - Re: Doclet
What I want to know is how jboss-ide create the list of doclets it show when I click on the add doclet on the XDoclet configurations dialog. I can then add a new doclet task there. The commons attributes task is a very simple one so I do not think this should be a big job. I know I can use only ant to make this, in fact this is the solution I am using right now. But I want to have all on the same configuration. [JBoss-dev] [JBoss IDE] - Re: Doclet
I am personally using JBoss IDE only for running the server (local or remote) inside Eclipse and getting the useful auto completion of XDoclet. To get full control over external tasks I recommend you to switch over to Ant and build your own build files. /G View the original post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&p=3840111#3840111 Reply to the post : http://www.jboss.org/index.html?module=bb&op=posting&mode=reply&p=3840111 --- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
