It is currently possible to filter jobs with views setup at the global level only.
Adding support for views setup at the user level ('My Views') would be also very useful.

One of our jenkins jobs is hitting this intermittently, I can't see an obvious cause. It appears that the build and publish plugin is trying to tag the docker image id c with our image tag. Docker doesn't like this (because there is more than one image matching c*) and complains: Successfully built 9ed7fb84ebda [mydockerimage] $ docker tag --force=true c myregistry/mydockerimage:latest time=2015-06-09T10:50:50+01:00 level=fatal msg=Error response from daemon: could not find image: Multiple IDs found with provided prefix I did originally have the plugin set up to tag as latest (explicitly set) with the latest tag option disabled. Switching this round (setting this to null and enabling tag as latest) appears to have fixed the issue. However, given the fact that this exact config succeeded on multiple occasions, I'm not convinced that this is actually a fix.

Sure, the browser doesn't do it by default, but most of the time it's not humans reading the JSON so you don't care. Not a big deal but I think, in this day and age (with lots of nice REST client tools that do client side formatting + lots more), doing server side formatting seems bad to me coz it just adds more overhead on the server (formatting does add a fair bit of overhead in my experience). We have associated jenkins-jobs job-mod-a, job-mod-b, job-mod-c. These should be considered downstream-jobs for the sub-modules of the root job. Whenever the root job builds one (or more) of the sub-modules, the associated downstream job must be triggered. Obviously jenkins allows for this kind of configuration, it correctly displays a proper information in the configuration screens. But the triggering does not work. The downstream jobs are not started at all. Is this configuration supposed to work? What could be missing? Add Comment

This will call the MailAddressResolver resolve method, which goes through all the implemented MailAddressResolvers to find the email address for the user. If one of those is returning unknown then that is what email-ext uses. The address resolution is normally implemented in the source control plugin. The first job is run after every commit to our master branch, it runs the tests, checks the codestyle etc. Our second job is run when a developer finished a feature and submits it for code review. Currently, the plugin allows us to compute new warnings since the last build. This is not always accurate, imagine: Developer 1 sends his feature off for code review. It removes a lot of codestyle issues, yay! The plugin checks developer 1 his changes. It nicely reports the removed issues.

Turns out Zuul now uses the Gearman plugin to achieve that behavior and I have updated Jenkins Job Builder to no more rely on that plugin ( https://review.openstack.org/#/c/167254/ ). The bug still stand but it is no more impacting me.
