Re: [Jmol-users] Jmol mediawiki extension
Hi Gerard Thanks for the suggestions. Jmol is already fully internationalized and localized, over 10 languages: http://wiki.jmol.org:81/index.php/Internationalisation/Current_Status I'm not sure if the MediaWiki extension would need any further localization. Does the testing environment that you mention need a web Wiki setup, or can it be tested locally? I would be interested on it, but haven't got a Wiki to implement it --nor the time to involvemyself into such a task--. We do the localisation of MediaWiki and we do the localisation of many of its extensions. We would be interested in working on JMOL as it is a lively and relevant software / community. I am also involved in a testing envirionment for MediaWiki extensions, if you are interested in using this environment, let me know.. I take it that you will convey my message to the JMOL mailing list ? Re: [Jmol-users] Jmol 11.7.1 - 11.7.3 new features
Bob, I somehow missed tp provide an answer to this. Unfortunately this order is exactly opposite to what I would need: 1) do some global settings 2) run a script file directed by the global settings Since there may also be cases where the other order would be needed it might be good if there were two different inline command line script options: one processed before -s and the other after -s. (Or alternatively look for the order within the command-line, which is commonly done within Linux/Unix programs. But this might be more difficult to implement.) Well, this is better -- any script inline on the command line -- which of course might be script a.spt;script b.spt;script c.spt thus solving the original problem. Very nice, thank you. Q: Is the order in which the scripts from -j and -s are processed fixed or does it depend of the order in the command-line? - This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100url=/ ___ Jmol-users mailing list Jmol-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/jmol-users
[Jmol-users] Jmol in TiddlyWiki
Colleagues, All this discussion about wikis made me wonder whether it would be possible to put Jmol into TiddlyWiki (http://www.tiddlywiki.com/). Maybe this is old hat but on the off-chance it's not, yes it is possible (see http://www.research.plymouth.ac.uk/pegg/staff/lewis_ca/testing/molecules/Jmol-TiddlyWiki.html). I did have a few problems with more than three instances of Jmol in a tiddler, as Firefox crashed at various points, although I'm not sure why that was happening. I hope this is useful, Anthony C.
