[jQuery] Problem with plugins

2009-11-19 Thread Paulo Henrique
Can someone help me find any problem with the code attached?
I am using it on a website, but its happening a problem with some of my
plugins... I use all of them on other websites and they all work fine,
but on this one, some aren't working.
When I call the editable plugin, it throws an error message saying editable
is not a function... the same happens with sortable, from jquery-ui...
On another website I'm working, this happens with ALL jquery plugins.

Does anyone know what might be causing this?

[jQuery] Issues with jQuery plugins

2009-11-12 Thread Paulo Henrique
Hello all... I am working on a php website, and I am using jquery and some
plugins I use on all my websites...
The problem is that I am doing exactly the same thing I do in every website,
but it suddenlly stopped working on this one...
The jquery works fine, I tried a command, the problem is with the plugins...
When I call a plugin, no matter which one,
an error message always says that the function doesn't exists... But the
same code on other website seems to work just
fine... here are a sample of my codes:

[jQuery] Re: jCarousel and ThickBox

2009-07-30 Thread Paulo Henrique
Hey guys, now the problem got worse :S

When I open the page with the carousel, it shows normally on Firefox, like
this pic:
http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/9ftA0BHxK4iBI0yDLCEzBQ?authkey=Gv1sRgCNuL8Y7bn8OxEA&feat=directlink

but when I open it on a thickbox, the carousel and the accordion doesnt
work, it shows like this:
http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/_boZJSj3Bn_EeKL1WLlpiQ?authkey=Gv1sRgCNuL8Y7bn8OxEA&feat=directlink

And on IE, it works fine on both, just the accordion that has some bug,
because the div becomes the head of the accordion, instead of the h3. =S

Can anyone here imagine what my problem might be?

[jQuery] jCarousel and ThickBox

2009-07-30 Thread Paulo Henrique
Hello guys...

I've been using thickbox for jQuery for a while now and I liked it. I
specially use it to show ajax content.
But then I needed to use a page with a jCarousel inside this thickbox. When
i open the page address,
the carousel works just fine, but when I load the page inside the thickbox,
the carousel starts to flick or bug.
=/
Do you guys know what might be the problem? Or do you know any other kind of
thickbox-like plugin
which I can load other pages on it? I tryied GreyBox, and the carousel
worked fine, but this GreyBox
is kinda ugly and not very functional...

Thanks for the attention.

[jQuery] DropDown Menu

2009-07-15 Thread Paulo Henrique
Hello guys, thanks for the help last time...
now I'm coming here to ask you help to build a dropDown menu
I already built one, but its positioning isn't working very well, when the
dimension of the screen is redimensioned
or when the page is zoomed. I had trouble creating the menu because ppl on
design made the website using image maps...
i tryied to get the position of the map using jquery, but it always return
top 0 and left 0, so it's no use...
If you guys want to understand better what I'm talking about, check
www.astralpaes.com.br/temp
and pass your mouse over "Produtos" and "Projetos"..

Thanks in advance for your time.

[jQuery] jQuery on IE

2009-07-09 Thread Paulo Henrique
Hello people...
I've been working with jQuery for some time now, but mostly on Firefox. But
i was finishing an old project, and needed javascript, so I decided to use
jQuery on it too.
It worked perfectly on Firefox, but on IE it ain't working.
The code is as it follows:

$(document).ready(function(){
 var nome = "";
 var pos = "";
 var html = document.createElement("div");
 $(html).attr("id", "submenu");
.
});

But the IE complains about the $ before (document), saying that an object is
expected (object expected at line X character 1).

Anyone out there could know what might be the reason?
Waiting for your help, and thanks in advance for your time.
