The version in the zip file now works (though no doubt could be
improved):

[jQuery] jQuery/JS/canvas/PHP remotely *shared* whiteboard

2009-04-30 Thread lorlarz

A remotely shared white board, using regular JavaScript,
jQuery, the canvas element and PHP.

I hope I (or someone else) can get this thing working.
The new 8:25 a.m. (US CST) version in

http://mynichecomputing.org/roughDrawKit.zip

should work -- though I still have not seen it work, perhaps
due to a caching problem.

[jQuery] Forum to display full JS Browser apps

2008-08-25 Thread lorlarz

I am hoping several jQuery people will post examples of their
programs, with explanations. In any case, you can share
and learn from others on this group, if things go well.
(See the first 7 posts for the rationale for the new group.)

New group to display and share and explain examples of interactive
javascript programs for the Internet (i.e. full-blown browser
programs)

http://groups.google.com/group/realcomplangjsapps

This group should do a lot to clarify things about the major
libraries and to promote them as well. I am sure jQuery
will be seen well, if some show some apps using it here.

Please feel free to invite anyone who might be able to contribute

[jQuery] Re: I am making a Drag/Drop applications BUILDER (feedback appreciated)

2008-07-10 Thread lorlarz

P.S. Re: the question I just raised (quoted below)

The problem I just mentioned occurs only in a non-maximized IE,
and only after one has scrolled to the bottom. And, as I said, the
problem
is IE only.

This should be a good puzzle for javascript people.

2008-07-10 Thread lorlarz

I have a question.

Why is the movement of the draggables (for example, in the sample
page:
http://mynichecomputing.com/GuideInfoandPlanner/ELLMath.html )
more limited in IE than in Firefox?

In IE on the PC, movement over the targets cannot even occur until
the page
is maximized and the draggables can move only in some regions of the
page.
In Firefox, there is no restriction on the movement

It now is working completely at some level and the whole kit is
downloadable.

I am making a Drag/Drop applications BUILDER (feedback appreciated):

The user interface is done, but it does no building. Whole thing may
be done in
a couple of days. BUT, I would like any input/feedback/ideas or
suggestions.
