  i will give some other idea to fetch the records from the
databse.if you are using 'oracle: thin' driver means its very easy.
first count the records.store it some variable, then count> 1 then
increase page number=1 put it in a loop.through the javascript
call the same page.

window.location.href="filenme.jsp?count="+a+"&pageNu="+b+"

but i am  not sure it will support "jdbc:odbc bridge driver"

or otherwise try absolute() method.

   friends. i have some problem.i am using jsp
   in top of the jsp page i will display the  some details

  for ex,
   user name: snsnnsns
   sex  : vxvx

in bottom side  i have a link
once i cleik the link i want to do to  the following action

  1. refresh the same page.
  2. according to cliking the link  i want to change the data also
 [user name, sex].


   give me suggeestion. direcly giving the same page [href and pass the

suppose i want to stroe the date in to the data base (oracel)
iam using formate to_date("+ +" ,'dd-mm-yy' );


the same way i am retriveing  i want to display date, time
in my jsp page.

i am using the following function

java.util.date d=rs.getDate(msgdate);
java.util.date d1=rs.getTime(msgdate);

it will displaying full time like 12:14:24   here i want to display
only hours and minutes.

[ i will try getHours , but its not working ]

   how can i do it.. give me suggestion.

whenever you change anything  try to delete catch memory.
becuase the catch memory still alive. so don't try to change the name.
if you are running in server it will create class filse.so delete the class
files and request again.i thinng it will be working fine. in java webserver
i am doing two ways

1. shutdown webserver and restart
2.  /temdir   deleting the class files . it works fine.

hi!

in my jsp page i have tow buttons. one is [previous]another one is  [next] i
want to display only 10 records one page.once press next means display next
set of records. how can i do it...
