Thanks buat pertanyaan2nya. Sebelum gue jawab pertanyaan2nya.. yg pasti ada satu hal yg perlu diketahui: gue bukan employer-nya untuk lowongan2 ini. Gue cuma mengedarkan lowongan aja kali2 ada yg tertarik :D Untuk soal pakai framework atau kagak.. gue juga kurang tau yg pastinya. Elo kayanya harus include granite.swc di Flex Builder Path Settings. Seharusnya sih gak masalah. Gue pake AMFChannel buat obtain connection di AIR and lancar2 aja so far. Jadi cara Flex yg pake BlazeDS juga harusnya bisa dipakai. GraniteDS sendiri juga pake AMFChannel. Untuk sementara waktu sembari nunggu BlazeDS provide seamless integration ama Spring, gue bakal pakai GraniteDS dulu, feature-featurenya juga berguna banget buat Java programmer, granite-spring, granite-hibernate, gas3, etc. Elo bisa pake gas3 buat generate entity bean remote object dalam action script 3 class. Anyway untuk perbandingan antara containers, kalau gue liat2 seh GraniteDS lebih provide heavy support untuk EJB3/Seam ketimbang Spring dan yg lain2. Elo bisa expose entity bean elo lewat action script. GraniteDS juga support EJB3, Seam, Spring. Kalau gue lebih cenderung pilih GraniteDS soalnya lebih sedikit configurationnya. BlazeDS juga gue liat bagus banget. Elo bisa pake @RemotingDestination buat automatic bean discovery di BlazeDS (ngurangin XML Configuration... di GraniteDS juga support @RemoteDestination tapi scope-nya hanya sebatas server side doang, tapi configurationnya lebih solid ada support untuk channels failover en security settings. Anyway kalau elo tanya sebaiknya pake apa.. gue sih bakal saranin orang2 pake GraniteDS untuk sementara waktu. Hessian juga mungkin elo bisa coba pake juga buat konek ke Flex and AIR. Kalau elo makai JPA, EclipseLink ada support upcoming JPA features yg dah dimasukin ke Early Draft Review dsbnya. EclipseLink juga support additional DataType untuk Oracle which is a good thing kalau menurut gue, soalnya di mission critical system kebanyakan perusahaan makai Oracle. Anyway itu menurut gue aja yah. Kalau gue lebih suka pakai EclipseLink atau OpenJPA. Kadang2 gue suka Hibernate juga soalnya banyak extension2nya seperti Jasypt ama Joda-Time. Seam pake JBPM sebagai pageflow untuk JSF, Spring Web Flow juga makai DSL style yg 'mirip' dengan JBPM. Kedua2nya gak ada hubungannya sama workflow system... kedua2nya cuma buat mempermudah navigation system di JSF Spring Web Flow 2 include beberapa module baru - Spring-Faces: integrasi antara JSF (View) dengan Spring MVC Controller (menggunakan Facelets) - Spring-JS: AJAX support dari Spring.. kelebihannya kalau Javascript di turned off dia bakal 'degrading gracefully', maksudnya bakal melakukan submit form seperti biasa (kurang lebih kaya gitu) - Penulisan flow-nya lebih singkat trus juga support tag untuk Spring Security dan ada beberapa scope baru. Spring Web Flow 2 juga support navigation system di Spring MVC (kayanya Grails juga bisa). Untuk kedepannya juga ada support buat Struts2 dan Tapestry5. Elo bisa pakai Spring-LDAP, bisa di-download di http://www.springframework.org/ldap Tapi Elo perlu tau sedikit tentang Spring Container (ApplicationContext) untuk pakai API ini. BTW, aplikasi-aplikasi desktop ke depannya kemungkinan bakal berbasis web. Teknologi seperti Adobe AIR dengan mudah bisa mengubah aplikasi menggunakan HTML/AJAX ke format aplikasi desktop. Belajar dasar-dasar JEE seperti Servlet, EJB, dsb-nya, menurut gue gak perlu, apalagi kalau pada akhirnya elo mutusin untuk makai Spring ;). Design Pattern bermanfaat banget kalau elo pakai IOC Framework seperti Spring. Dengan Design Pattern, elo bisa tau gimana cara elo bangun dan manage arsitektur elo dengan baik. Good luck!!!
