https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381625 Maik Qualmann changed: What|Removed |Added CC||metzping...@gmail.com --- Comment #5 from Maik Qualmann --- I also do not know whether I would like this dialog window. Personally I had never desire to decide by the small thumbnail and the file size, whether it is the same file. I would suggest that we rename an existing file with a counter and always copy it. The outer one is certainly unnecessary because it lets the buttons on the right side vanish if the window is wrongly-sized (and it always is, because it seems to be measured based on font size). I even consider the slider in the list unnecessary. If the content gets too crammed, the window can be enlarged instead of fiddling with the slider. Having a curious issue. When I start the application and press space bar playback starts. When I press it again playback stops. Then when I press it again playback does not start up again. I have to press the right arrow key a few times and then press the space bar and go back and forth and then playback starts again this is very unusual behavior. Have to repeat this process every time I stop playback. Also the graphical play/pause/stop button works once then stops working. I installed Kdenlive as per instructions on the website where I downloaded the application. I also installed the ffmpeg shared application. I also have Shotcut and Lightworks installed and all the keys work perfectly with both applications. So I'm wondering if it's a flawed install of kdenlive or is it something that's missing in my system. I'd very much like to try out Kdenlive because it seems to be very robust and solid application. Unfortunately this keyboard issue is not making things easy. Thank you for any insights. Never mind. I downloaded and installed Kdenlive 17.04.3 and everything seems to work fine. No keyboard or other issues. There is a bug in 17.08.1. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I divided code in logical parts as you suggested. Hope the review process will be MUCH easier now. Note that patch is supposed to be fully applied for compile and regtest purposes. > * Remove all whitespace changes. These just add noise and make the > reviewing process more difficult. Done. > * Remove the numerous __inline__ annotations in guest_s390_toIR.c. > None of these functions are performance critical, and the compiler > can decide for itself what to inline. I've removed __inline__ from my helper functions but saved them for vr_xxy_offset(...), put_vr_xxy(...) and get_vr_xxy() ones. The reason to do so that their gpr "brothers" are declared with inline. I don't know if it is important or not but want to declare similar functions with similar annotations. If you disagree with this statement I will remove __inline__ from all my helper functions in "guest_s390_toIR.c" file. Let me know your opinion on it. > * Try to reduce the size of the patch as much as possible. A few > small changes widely spaced is ideal. [gwenview] [Bug 373629] Filename in move file dialog is not set to actual filename
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373629 --- Comment #16 from Oded Arbel --- If anyone else encounters such a problem and get here, here's the actual problem: the Ubuntu package budgie-desktop-common sets up a file /etc/profile.d/10-budgie-desktop.sh that defines an environment variable called QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME to "gtk2" causing all QT application to load the GTK+ dialogs instead of the default KDE dialogs. This is definitely a bug in the Budgie desktop setup that is not respecting other desktops and forces a configuration that breaks expected behaviors of other environments.
