So I did a new fresh/clean install. 1) Uninstalled kdenlive 2) deletet folder under APPDATA local and roaming 3) Restart PC 4) Installed kdenlive 19.04.0-2 5) Restart PC 6) Tried kdenlive but it crashes again. Unfortunately I cannot start the program again after the crash now. I have to restart my pc to use it again, but the program keeps crashing. I also didn't find the programm running in the background with my taskmanager after crashing. THis is weird. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

While the current order (logout,lock-screen,reboot,shutdown) is desirable for some, others might want less options visible, more options visible, or specific options instead of default, for instance, in my case, I prefer having logout, suspend, shutdown. Kickoff shows all system actions; Kicker and Application Dashboard show only three but have a section just for system actions, which in turn can also be set as favorites. [krita] [Bug 406996] New: Pen with WinTab uses coordinate relative to the top left of all displays potentially creating an offset.
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406996 Bug ID: 406996 Summary: Pen with WinTab uses coordinate relative to the top left of all displays potentially creating an offset. Product: krita Version: 4.1.7 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: tablet support Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: fofzequalsz2pl...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- Note: I'm using a Monoprice 19-Inch TFT Monitor (110707) and can't test for other graphics tablets. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set your tablet display to be anywhere but the top left in an extended display configuration in the display settings. 1. Open Krita and use WinTab (restart Krita if you weren't already) 2. Identify whether pen pressure no longer registers or if there is an offset within the drawing area. When using WinTab the position of the cursor inside the drawing space uses coordinate relative to the top left of all displays and puts the cursor at that position relative to the current display. This is only within the drawing space; outside the drawing space, the system's mouse position is used. Note: the origin is considered the top left. (hence why this is relative to the top left) This creates an offset if you're using multiple monitors and you're drawing on one that's on the far left, but not at the top. If you're drawing on the right display (or the offset puts the cursor outside of the drawing area), the normal coordinates are used, but pen-pressure is not used. I would've expected Krita to be able to correct for this offset when the drawing display isn't in top left. Have you tried replacing the INT_MAX token by > a numeric value to see if the symbolic default argument has something to do > with the issue? `void BinIncFile(char* fname, int offset = INT_MAX, int length = 12);` -> shows -> `void BinIncFile(char* fname, int offset, int length = 12)` `void BinIncFile(char* fname, int offset = INT_MAX, int length = INT_MAX);` -> shows -> `void BinIncFile(char* fname, int offset, int length);` `void BinIncFile(char* fname = NULL, int offset = 1, int length = 0);` -> `void BinIncFile(char* fname, int offset = 1, int length = 0);` `void BinIncFile(char* fname = nullptr, int offset = 0, int length = INT_MAX);` -> `void BinIncFile(char* fname, int offset = nullptr, int length = 0);` So it seems it's not trivial +1 index, but the default values are assigned from back to front (not hard link to particular argument), and if some "didn't parse", it's missing in the assignment, creating effect of +1,2,... index bug depending how many are missing. `nullptr` is understood and shown. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406722 --- Comment #4 from Juan Carlos Torres --- OK, that's rather confusing. But I guess the bug is in KUserFeedback then. I merely based it on the framework being listed as part of https://api.kde.org/frameworks/index.html which is probably because https://cgit.kde.org/kuserfeedback.git/tree/metainfo.yaml claims it's a framework. I wasn't aware it was part of extragear (partly due to cgit's flat structure, I didn't know where to check for that info, will look into it). [kwin] [Bug 406800] XWayland: bad cursor events after DisplayPort monitor hotplug
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406800 --- Comment #2 from mapp...@gmail.com --- (In reply to Vlad Zagorodniy from comment #1) > > it affects dragging window, > Hmm, this one is a bit interesting. Do you move windows by dragging titlebar? The top-left 1920x1200 region of my 2560x1440 monitor is unusable. The mouse input seems to go through to the XWayland window, but to the wrong coordinate within the window. It has the correct y position but a wrong x position. The x position is fixed to x=1920-ish (screen coordinates). Example: I put the Chromium window straddling the cut-off screen position. If i hover over a bookmark on the bookmarks bar, a different bookmark further-to-the-right is highlighted. On click, that other bookmark is loaded. Chromium uses client-side window decorations and so moving is affected. When dragging from inside the window, the mouse "jumps" immediately to its "new effective" position. If i enable system window decorations in Chromium, or if i run a different XWayland app (e.g. `QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb kate`), there's no problem moving the window by its border. I guess this happens all within Wayland, and, the problem is confined to XWayland. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kdesrc-build] [Bug 406722] KUserFeedback is not included in Frameworks group
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406722 Michael Pyne changed: What|Removed |Added Status|REPORTED|RESOLVED CC||bcooks...@kde.org Resolution|--- |UPSTREAM --- Comment #2 from Michael Pyne --- Juan, I took a look at sysadmin/repo-metadata and it seems that kuserfeedback is part of extragear/libs. So from that perspective kdesrc-build is doing the right thing. I know there's been a module or two over time that have been developed outside of kde/frameworks while they were getting into shape for KF5, but I'm not aware of any that were deliberately left outside of kde/frameworks/* even while they were meant to be treated as a part of KF5. Ben might know more, I've CC'ed him. But if KUserFeedback is meant to be part of KF5 then I would recommend asking its maintainer to work with kde-frameworks-devel to get the module proposed for and approved for inclusion into KF5, and from there the sysadmins can update sysadmin/repo-metadata. If KUserFeedback is required for kdesrc-build in the meantime, then a module-set config like this would work, and could be made part of the sample and generated configuration files: module-set kf5-frameworks repository kde-projects use-modules frameworks kuserfeedback end module-set However note that kuserfeedback does not presently contain any dependency data within kde-build-metadata, that's another thing that would need to be fixed to work well with kdesrc-build and build.kde.org -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Further details: My collection tree is like: 2019a Holiday in country X\2019-01-20a Roadtrip Y\DSC_1234.JPG 2019a Holiday in country X\2019-01-20a Roadtrip Y\DSC_1234.NEF Therefore, last time when I tried, selecting multiple albums and creating a group results in cross-album groups. No justification for that, right? So that makes this functionality pretty useless. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[plasmashell] [Bug 406982] New: Thermal monitor does not show lm-sensor readings
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406982 Bug ID: 406982 Summary: Thermal monitor does not show lm-sensor readings Product: plasmashell Version: 5.15.4 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Reporter: andy...@mail.ru CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY After reboot, lm-sensor readings, such as CPU temperatures, are displayed as OFF. At the same time, the "sensors" command displays temperatures as expected. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add Thermal Monitor widget on the horizontal panel. 2. In the widget options, add lm-sensor sources, lmsensors/coretemp-isa-/Package_id_0, lmsensors/coretemp-isa-/Core_0, etc. 3. Reboot. OBSERVED RESULT After reboot, the added sensors are displayed as OFF. The "sensors" command show expected temperatures. Sometimes, if I open the widget options, change one of the sensors to something else, then change back, and click Apply, the sensors start displaying valid readings. EXPECTED RESULT Sensor readings should be displayed correctly. [digikam] [Bug 406981] New: GoPro video thumbnails are just noise
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406981 Bug ID: 406981 Summary: GoPro video thumbnails are just noise Product: digikam Version: 6.1.0 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Thumbs-Video Assignee: digikam-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: djse...@home.nl Target Milestone: --- Digikam 6.0/6.1 GoPro video (MP4) thumbnails appear as coloured snow / noise. Model used: GoPro 4 Black Edition with latest firmware. Besides not being able to recognize what the video is about...another downside for me is that when I do my (just started with this) 4 monthly check for photo/video corruption by actually looking at the thumbs (which I guess I then have to regenerate every 4 months), I cannot see if the video is corrupted or not, plus obviously it delays the checking process because having to verify the noise is a GoPro video and not a really damaged file. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[okular] [Bug 139562] override font to use in pdf documents
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=139562 --- Comment #8 from David Hurka --- Overriding the font would also be useful for .epub. I have an .epub here which sets the font to serif in every in it’s internal .html files. The .epub uses only this one font, so a global override would be appropiate. In the epub backend config dialog, only the default font is available. This can change the font size, as it is not set by the .epub. (In general, I think that an .epub shouldn’t set the font.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[Akonadi] [Bug 389607] akonadictl fsck: Show more helpful messages
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=389607 --- Comment #8 from Nick --- Hello Martin, Thank you for your email and your comments . I agree that some emails may be lost . I took the time to try making/finding some correlations with what the user sees . - First of all I converted to IMAP as per ip provider's tech-support . So the database contains records from the "old" [maildir? ] system and the new "IMAP" system . Also I had to move the database from my old machine to a new one [ in fact entire /home from old was transfered to the new machine ] So the same userid had acceess to the emails immediately after opensuse leap 15.0 was installed on the new machine ]. I do not know if these changes have any impact [ the hostname was chaged ] - Based on the way akonadictl presents its resulst it(akonadictl) is NOT a user friendly tool . On the contrary the actual reporting scares the user with those messages "no RID" or "dirty" or "records removed from data base and moved in lost-and-found" without at least to ask the user if [s]he wants/agrees with that move . I looked closely to pimitemtable and it seems that the column remoteId is nullable [ i.e. accepts an undefinned/unidentified/unknowm value ]. I believe that the hub of all these issues is not with the database server but with akonadi because switching between MariaDB and Postgresql does not stop the isses from happening. These problems in kmail-database are inherited from the time when kmail was using sqlite . In my humble opinion, the database server does what is told/comanded by the interface between the user and the database---that is akonadi---. It is strange that a such important item as remoteId was translated in a datamodel that accepts it as being nullable . That allows that any event that is not controlled by the code inserts/updates a record as having remoteId NULL, and from this all users' complaints . This assumption does not match the reality . I would like to know how it comes that receiving an email---which has a sender and a receiver--- is recorded in the database with a remoteId of NULL value ? I provide below some info collected from my machine before c;eaning up the records with RID NULl in pimitemtable . You van notice that that record had a valid collectionId but has invalid remoteId . I checked that many other emails with valid remoteId pointer to the same collection Id . I tend to agree with you that . `` However it also could be that Akonadi just messes up big time like in storing the items into remote storage, but somehow failing to store the remote ID or whatever. `` I believe that KDE development should have a look at kmail-database-datamodel if it matches technical-requirements and/or ifv akonadi handles the email requests properly . Also it is very dificult for the user to find any item that is wrong using kmail and not to dig in databse tables . That's the role of akonadictl and/or what ever any USER ORIENTED tools . I believe that akonadikconsole is too powerful for the casual user . At the same time akonadi seem to keep their cards close to the vest . making easy for developers to point to user errors . The users have had it for too long asking and asking and asking and nothing to be done . [plasmashell] [Bug 406980] New: Panel widget options are inaccessible
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406980 Bug ID: 406980 Summary: Panel widget options are inaccessible Product: plasmashell Version: 5.15.4 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk Reporter: andy...@mail.ru CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY Accessing options of widgets on the panel is virtually impossible as Plasma closes the options menu when mouse moves away from the widget. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Unlock desktop widgets. 2. Make sure you have widgets on the panel. In my case, the panel is horizontal, and the widget is an icon. 3. On the panel, click on the sliders icon on the right. This will open the panel options allowing to adjust the panel width, etc. 4. Move the mouse over the icon widget. An option window appears, showing the icon name, "Configure" and "Remove" options. 5. Start moving the mouse towards the "Configure" and "Remove" options. OBSERVED RESULT The menu disappears as soon as the mouse is moved away from the icon, even if the mouse is over the menu.
