[kompare] [Bug 402363] File mode always set to 0600 when saving changes
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=402363 Terry Barnaby changed: What|Removed |Added CC||te...@beam.ltd.uk --- Comment #2 from Terry Barnaby --- Created attachment 124765 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=124765=edit libkomparediff2 patch to set file permisions on copy This is a patch that sets the file permissions on file_copy to be the same as the original file. This may not be the correct way of doing this. I can't find any documentation on what the permissions = -1 argument to KIO::file_copy is actually supposed to do. This setting "may" have been meant to keep the files permissions unchanged but it seem to set them to 0600. Maybe someone who knows how KIO is supposed to work can answer this ? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[korganizer] [Bug 388328] Moving a single event of a serial is ignored
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=388328 David de Cos changed: What|Removed |Added CC||david.de...@ehu.eus --- Comment #5 from David de Cos --- (In reply to mullein from comment #4) I'm just as frustrated as you are by the problems KOrganizer has with event recurrences. I, too, use several clients (both with Google Calendar and Nextcloud calendar), and they all manage recurrence exceptions flawlessly, except Korganizer. However, my experience differs slightly from yours: if I move a single event out of a series in an external client, it gets correctly moved in KOrganizer. It's actually one of the few things that work in KOrganizer regarding recurrence (if not the only one). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415523 --- Comment #5 from Christoph Feck --- If a configuration option isn't planned, here are some suggestions: With the filename extensions now visible, I suggest to hide the Type column to get more room for the Name column. Maybe it could automatically decide where to elide based on the visibility of the Type column. Also, to show the extension, middle-elision isn't ideal. [i18n] [Bug 404286] Absurd "cancel" polish translation
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=404286 --- Comment #58 from Kamil Piwowarski <9luty1...@gmail.com> --- One of the goal of KDE is consistency. https://dot.kde.org/2019/09/07/kde-decides-three-new-challenges-wayland-consistency-and-apps In latest months there were done a lot of work to improve that and I am very happy with that. For example GTK3 apps looks and behavior better. I love using Plasma and the rest of Apps. Unfortunately there is still one thing that made me irritated, broke my workflow and ruin hard earned consistency. When I am using any Java/GKT3/Qt (non-KDE)/Electron/Wine/Android app next to KDE app I am very confused, because of this #BROKEN# translation. Please fix that bug. Firstly - because almost no one are using „Zaniechaj” as „Cancel” and almost no one know what does it mean in computer systems. Secondly - it is against one of the KDE goal which is consistency. [korganizer] [Bug 398724] Korganizer removes events from caldav calendars only locally
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=398724 David de Cos changed: What|Removed |Added CC||david.de...@ehu.eus --- Comment #1 from David de Cos --- I can't reproduce this bug, as it is presented. I use a NextCloud calendar and sync it in KOrganizer as CalDav. If I create a single event and then remove it in KOrganizer, it gets deleted in the server (and all the other clients) too. I only have something similar to your reported problem when it is a recurring event, and one of the ocurrences has been modified. Then, if I delete all of them in Korganizer, all of them do disappear in Korganizer, but the modified ocurrence persists in the server. However, I assume this is due to the problems Korganizer has with recurrences, not specifically with events deletion. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

This translation has been used by Apple for the last 15 years. Even Mac users do not have an option to use "Poniechaj" translation currently, as all Polish-language software has standardized on Anuluj. And "NSLW" uses this only as an excuse, since his translation is different from that used by Apple (Apple: Poniechaj, NSLW: Zaniechaj). He's innovative that way. Every piece of software localized in Polish or written originally in Polish uses Cancel = Anuluj. Games use it (including ones from Polish studios), government software and web services use it, desktop software uses it, mobile software uses it. Only KDE stands out, due to one obstinate translator. (In reply to NSLW from comment #52) > Are you aware that I translate for KDE mostly alone for over 8 years? > I don't do it just since couple of months. Are you saying that during all > that time I constantly were damaging translations? I am well aware, and that makes the bug you intentionally created even worse. For 7 years you've left "Cancel" = "Anuluj" alone, and then out of a sudden you mistranslated it as "Zaniechaj". Nothing's changed, you weren't the original translator of KDE, you should've left it as you've found it, and as everyone was familiar with. The years you've spent with the project mean that you should have known better and should have made appropriate consultations before making such UX-breaking change for no good reason and out of a sudden. This is not an accidental bug, but an intentional action of "NSLW". He will clearly not fix it. What does it take for KDE Project to take this matter seriously? A petition? Letter writing campaign? Finding a translator, who will pledge to do translations once NSLW is prevented from breaking them? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
