[kdenlive] [Bug 427388] Machine Freeze opening application
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=427388 --- Comment #7 from Ken Smith --- Have installed 20.08.03 on the system that froze previously. In the meanwhile that system has been upgraded from Fedora 32 to Fedora 33.(Kernel 5.9.8-200) Sad to report that the same freeze occurs with Wayland and not with Xorg. In Xorg mode, I opened a large 1080p project on version 20.08.03 and the system became unresponsive. On investigation several threads of ffmpeg were consuming the system resources. It would be worth having kdenlive produce some user information as on the surface the system appeared frozen. After 10-15 mins the processing had completed but this version of kdenlive barely plays that project whereas 20.08.01 played OK. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[korganizer] [Bug 429372] New: One pop-up notification per-event instead of a single pop-up window
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429372 Bug ID: 429372 Summary: One pop-up notification per-event instead of a single pop-up window Product: korganizer Version: unspecified Platform: unspecified OS: All Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: marco.ru...@protonmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I think it would be really useful to have an option to display a per-event pop-up notification via KNotify instead of a window. Depending on its priority, the notification would last from some seconds to being displayed until it's manually closed. It would be more clean and wouldn't interrupt your work, which I find is not the case when a window is displayed. It could also be useful because, through D-BUS, the content of the notification could be read by other programs, which can trigger the activation of a script to do some processing with it, think for example of automatically connecting the user to its upcoming online meeting, of which the link is contained in the notification body. [kpat] [Bug 429369] New: Very very slow to resolve
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429369 Bug ID: 429369 Summary: Very very slow to resolve Product: kpat Version: 19.12 Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based) OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: solver Assignee: co...@kde.org Reporter: al.knep...@gmail.com CC: kde-games-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 133472 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=133472=edit Cpu running all cores. SUMMARY This is a fresh install of Mint 20 Cinnamon 64bit. Running an i7 guad core processor w/ turbo boost to 4GHz. Now and then the solver will run all 8 processors at 4Ghz max. Some times for as long as 30 seconds or more. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Simply just load and pick a game. Normally the more complex games, like Mod3 or Yukon have a higher rate of displaying this issue. OBSERVED RESULT Oddly I observed when playing mod3 I had a choice of 2 Jack of spades to put on a pile. Both jacks in the top line so it made no difference which I picked, they both would go on top of the 8 and both free a hole. But one failed and one did not. Also as the game progresses, the symptoms diminish. Not unexpectedly since there are less choices to test. Sometimes I can back up and then 'redo' the move and it solves faster. Normally I just assume it's having a hemorrhage and there is no solution so I 'undo' the move. In Mint 19.3 I had a lag for the solver but never more than 10 seconds. And usually it was 'cannot determine if there is a solution' or whatever the wording is. A delay usually meant it was not a good move. Now it's just taking time even to say it's still a winnable game. EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Use the following equation: 1*(1-e^(-k*x)) 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT I had > 12 spreadsheets, each with Time in the X and Catalysis in the Y. Most of these are from months ago and haven't been touched since they were initially created (some going back to April). Since opening LabPlot 2.81 for the first time, suddenly the equation is red, and any fits that I graphed with it have disappeared. You would need to do `touch 'file.na'\$'me'`, and this produces a file with a dollar sign in it as expected. [digikam] [Bug 429338] Context menus shown in wrong locations on Wayland
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429338 Maik Qualmann changed: What|Removed |Added CC||metzping...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from Maik Qualmann --- I cannot reproduce the problem here on a full Plasma Wayland session with KWin (openSUSE). Except for the splash screen, all context menus open on the correct monitor, in the correct position. QSplashScreen seems to have a bug, even with added QScreen as parent it opens incorrectly. But otherwise everything is ok. When I look over the source code, we have set a parent almost everywhere, in any case all menus in the menu bar. Can the problem only be reproduced with digiKam or do Dolphin, Krita or Gwenview show the same problem? Maik -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
