[frameworks-kio] [Bug 436639] Being able to set that files get opened via a command instead of a program
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436639 --- Comment #8 from Toadfield --- There is another use case,if I download a normal windows .exe, but that doesn't work with latest wine, then I could change the wine version it should use faster,if I wouldn't need to create a .desktop file for the executable. The problem with opening it in the terminal is,that I would have to do that every single time I want to open the file, and I could also forget which wine version worked the best. And also I just hate it when there is a .desktop file of a .exe in every directory in which the normal wine doesn't work, that makes them look different than the other wine program directories and when I see something like this then my ocd kicks in. I mean all those points aren't a big thing, but it would still improve my experience. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Ok, now I understand. pbs3141 and me suggested mostly the same, just that my suggestion does not use any filepaths, and so does not need to process docdata files to decide whether to delete them. The fear for collisions is probably real for .txt files and similar, where two different documents can easily have the same first 4kB. (The text on the first two pages are the same.) [okular] [Bug 436738] docdata duplicated each time pdf is edited
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=436738 --- Comment #13 from Albert Astals Cid --- (In reply to David Hurka from comment #12) > Every time I open a document, Okular checks whether the file > “,.xml” exists. Is that different to checking whether the > file “.xml” exists? > > Or do I understand something wrong? My answer was to pbs3141 that was suggesting something different as far as I understand. I don't like the idea of identifying the docdata exclusively by hash. Hashes by definition will have collisions, so will have filenames+filesize, but it's much easier to explain that two documents "share" their docdata because of that (and if the user actually has two files with the same filename and size and are not the same, she can rename one of the files) than the fact that if they share the hash of the first N bytes, which is something that no one "normal" can really understand and if even they understand they can't fix it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kmymoney] [Bug 437168] In Payees view Balance shown is always zero
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=437168 --- Comment #1 from Jack --- This is not a bug, it's essentially by design, although a PAYEE is not actually an ACCOUNT. However, thinking of it as an account, each transaction has a split showing the funds coming from whichever ACCOUNT they came from, and one going to the assigned CATEGORY. That leave a net 0 amount for each transaction, thus the final 0 balance. It might be reasonable to switch this bug to a WISHLIST, requesting that the PAYEE view show as the balance, the total amount paid to or from that PAYEE. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429326 Dmitrii Utkin changed: What|Removed |Added CC||loen...@gmail.com --- Comment #3 from Dmitrii Utkin --- This could be solved by adding ",setsar=1" after "scale=$WIDTH:$HEIGHT", but.. frames become stretched. We can add black padding to keep ratio by adding "force_original_aspect_ratio=decrease,pad=$WIDTH:$HEIGHT:(ow-iw)/2:(oh-ih)/2" but probably it doesn't look so good? Also some filters and encoders like gif doesn't work with variable input image size it either causes ffmpeg to crash or just skip everything until the target ratio is reached. You can try how it works, just edit MP4 x264 profile like this: -framerate $IN_FPS -i "$INPUT_DIR%07d.jpg" -vf "scale=$WIDTH:$HEIGHT:force_original_aspect_ratio=decrease,pad=$WIDTH:$HEIGHT:(ow-iw)/2:(oh-ih)/2,setsar=1" -c:v libx264 -r $OUT_FPS -pix_fmt yuv420p If it's ok, I will update profiles accordingly. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 437162] FR: Ship or allow support for better colour correction
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=437162 --- Comment #6 from Maik Qualmann --- Well, in addition to the automatic color correction, the Samsung image editor has simply increased the colors. Stronger colors perceive a lot as "better". If we did this automatically, we will get some negative feedback from photographers. Of course we can add this mode as well. By the way, you can achieve it relatively easily with digiKam, carry out an automatic exposure correction. Then apply the vivid effect from the color effect with a strength of 5-8. The image looks almost identical to the Samsung image. Maik -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
