https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321374 Stuart Longland changed: What|Removed |Added CC||stuartl+...@longlandclan.id ||.au --- Comment #11 from Stuart Longland --- Is there an up-to-date branch that can be tried out? Earlier comments are from 2014 suggesting there was a branch that was incomplete then. My situation: I have effectively three email accounts. My home email account is on Dovecot IMAP, but my workplace has decided to adopt Office365 (not my decision, looking forward to no work email when it stops working on Feb29 each leap year), which despite IMAP namespaces being a Microsoft creation, instead uses whole separate accounts to represent shared mail directories. That means that I need to be able to log in to Office365 as both m...@example.com, and as me\mail...@example.com; simultaneously. --profile isn't workable as the whole point of a shared mail box is that you can move emails in and out of it from your own personal account. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=439188 --- Comment #3 from Ralek Kolemios --- (In reply to wolthera from comment #2) The only solution I can come up with is a new pixel art brush engine. [digikam] [Bug 431689] Nokia 9 PureView DNG image demosaicing preview corruption
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=431689 Mehmet gelisin changed: What|Removed |Added CC||mehmetgeli...@aol.com --- Comment #31 from Mehmet gelisin --- I'm trying to use Digikam to establish a photo processing workflow entirely based on open source software. http://www.compilatori.com/ On the input/import end, I'm using OsmAnd on Android to collect GPS tracks, OpenCamera on Android to take photos. Then I use Digikam to GPS correlate tracks & photos from my discrete http://connstr.net/ camera (and also to supplement Android photos with DOP values from the OsmAnd tracks, which the Android platform doesn't yet support recording in EXIF natively). Currently, I do all other editing & photo processing within Digikam. http://joerg.li/ For exporting, I typically publish (currently via batch uploads of files through the web interfaces of each platform) to five different target platforms: Strava (a group for http://www.jopspeech.com/ stewards of our local wilderness trail), Facebook (valuable to support discussions with a broader community not on other platforms), Flickr (mostly as fairly large, "free" cloud storage), Wordpress (self-hosted), and iNaturalist. Anything I can do to automate / optimize / cut out redundancy in my workflow would greatly improve life for me. A significant barrier in this workflow to uploading efficiently to the iNaturalist platform is submissions through their web interface of large photo sets. In Chromium, http://www.wearelondonmade.com/ it is necessary to partition sets of greater than about 30 photos at a time into subsets, otherwise my Atom-based workstation with 8G RAM runs out of memory to handle the page. Integration with Digikam done properly would likely help with this. The main feature request & other useful features all sound like things that would help me too. I'd love to see something started, and then those additional requests filed as separate wishlists once work is underway. As a professional software developer, primarily in Ruby these days, but with some proficiency in other languages, and also as a Debian developer of some years, helping develop an iNaturalist export extension for digikam is certainly something I'd be interested in exploring. I must caution, though, that I have no KDE development experience. I don't think that's a huge barrier to me making some sort of contribution, but it probably rules me out as being a driver for this effort. As digikam appimage has all built in, that is irrelevant. http://www.logoarts.co.uk/ Manually upgrading to current exiv2 0.27.2, brings no change in reading the metadata. I had a look with exiftool the output for http://www.acpirateradio.co.uk/ an original S3Pro raw file and the converted DNG. Looking with diff, they are hugely different. Could it be an issue of the raw handler that is used? http://www.jopspeech.com/ What is the big difference between Rawtherapee and digikam in this sense? Thinking into a different direction: could http://joerg.li/ it be that Rawtherapee demosaics the file before displaying it? Unfortunately my coding days are long gone, so I'd be challenged to research into, how the "logic" works here. http://connstr.net/ Maik, you seem to hint that progress with exiv2 is "slowish". What relevance does exiv2 have for interpreting the raw/dng files? [neon] [Bug 442309] New: KDE neon (Live from USB) changes clock under Windows 10
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442309 Bug ID: 442309 Summary: KDE neon (Live from USB) changes clock under Windows 10 Product: neon Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Microsoft Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Live/Install images Assignee: neon-b...@kde.org Reporter: bugs_kde_org.5.k...@spamgourmet.com CC: j...@jriddell.org, neon-b...@kde.org, sit...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I have a Laptop with Windows 10 as it's main OS. Sometimes I use KDE neon as a live system for a USB stick for testing. When I boot KDE neon, restart and boot back into Windows 10 the system clock is changed. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Windows 10 as you main OS 2. Run KDE neon from a USB stick (and ?do nothing? -> see "ADDITIONAL INFORMATION") 3. Boot back into Windows 10 and see the clock changed OBSERVED RESULT The clock is changed by -2 hours. I guess this is because I live in a +2 hours timezone and KDE neon resets it to +0. It's easy to fix on Windows 10: Open the time settings and toggle the setting to automatically get the time off and back on. EXPECTED RESULT KDE neon should not change the settings - especially as live system from a USB stick SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows 10 Home (Version 20H2; build 19042.1165) Linux/KDE Plasma: Will be checked the next time I use the live system (I used neon-user-20210902-0945) KDE Plasma Version: per above KDE Frameworks Version: per above Qt Version: per above ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Own Laptop: MSI Bravo 17 This *might* be related to KDE neon connecting to the internet. So when KDE neon is connected to the internet it changes the time setting, if it isn't it does not. I need to retest this though. I tested this bug on a company laptop and there it did not change the time. HOWEVER: That PC had a locked BIOS/UEFI and the Win 10 system was encrypted (So I would have been surprised very much if KDE neon managed to change the time setting over there) A though: Would KDE neon change the date as well on New Years Eve when I'm already in the next year, but +0 is not? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[digikam] [Bug 432140] Cannot reassign face to 'ignored'
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=432140 --- Comment #9 from Jens --- Adding to this bug because mine was marked as duplicate. The feature works as described, but the "Ignored" tag is confusing. It should not appear as a dropdown selection option if it cannot be assigned that way. But in this case it should also be available as a third button while viewing the image with its face rectangles to make the user experience consistent. So we have buttons for "add", "ignore" and "delete" a face rectangle. Also, the "Ignored" tag in the left sidebar should be "special (maybe by default in a different color, or with a custom icon, or not be deletable, or ...). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442303 --- Comment #3 from Jens --- OK, I get it but this is confusing since there are two meanings for "-". Clicking on "-" while viewing the image will remove the face, but it will be redetected when re-running the deteection algorithm. Clicking on "-" while in the "People" browser will do as you described. Can we maybe unify this experience so that we have - (+) Accept and tag face - (/) Ignore face (& move to "Ignored" category) - (-) Remove this face (& don't detect it again) because this isn't a face in both views? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[konsole] [Bug 442306] New: Konsole doesn't send Ctrl+Left click to terminal application
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442306 Bug ID: 442306 Summary: Konsole doesn't send Ctrl+Left click to terminal application Product: konsole Version: 20.12.3 Platform: Kubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: keyboard Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org Reporter: cadast...@claroenigma.com.br Target Milestone: --- Hi! I'm a user of the Kakoune editor. One of its features is multiple selections, that is, multiple cursors each selecting a different region of text. To manually place a new selection, we can use Ctrl + Left mouse click. It works well on every terminal I've tested so far except Konsole, which seems to not send the corresponding event to Kakoune. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install any recent version of Kakoune (the version in your distro repo should do the job, albeit colors will only work properly on Konsole with the last Kakoune's release: version 2021.08.28; this bug can be reproduced also in previous versions though) 2. Run `kak` in Konsole; it will open a scratch buffer 3. Press `Ctrl+Left click` on any word in that scratch buffer OBSERVED RESULT The cursor jumps to the word pointed by the mouse as if the `Ctrl` modifier is not pressed. EXPECTED RESULT A new cursor should be created at the mouse position, adding to the cursor already present when Kakoune starts, resulting in two cursors. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 21.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.21.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.80.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Also tested on Opensuse Tumbleweed with Konsole 21.08.1. Tweaking settings in `Settings -> Edit current profile -> Mouse -> Miscellaneous` doesn't take any effect on the observed behaviour. Terminal emulators I can attest `Ctrl+Left click` works properly: Kitty, Alacritty, Gnome Terminal, Wezterm. [kwin] [Bug 442304] Firefox context menu is small and displays with scrollbar on KDE Wayland
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442304 --- Comment #3 from Lyubomir --- Firefox Nightly and Firefox 92 Stable can reproduce this issue, but please test in Nightly as it has a lot of Wayland-related changes and i believe that the issue is exacerbated there. If Firefox Nightly is extracted in /opt/firefox/ for example you should run Nightly with the following commands: export MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 /opt/firefox/firefox -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
